    A tale about a 12' skeleton and a 5 ton

It came with it. He also comes with a guy wire to the base, but to stabilize him for driving I added 2 100# wires to the trailer and the presents at his feet have 20# cinder blocks in them.

    A tale about a 12' skeleton and a 5 ton

This is the pic that was in the local paper today. And again, @IRIS_Always made the concept into a perfectly executed activity!

    A tale about a 12' skeleton and a 5 ton

Well, the truck and Skelvis were a hit at the parade! And I couldn't have done it without @IRIS_Always and my crew! Now we are planning Mardi Gras!

    A tale about a 12' skeleton and a 5 ton

She really is awesome! She also figured out the mohawk, gotee and nose situation! Shes the brains, I'm the brawn!

    A tale about a 12' skeleton and a 5 ton

I've been looking for the 12' skeleton from Home Depot and they're always sold out. For reference, this is how big the honking things are (this is a pic from the net just for scale): An old friend of mine had one and offered it to me for what they paid for it, so I jumped at the chance...

    Remote start

Yeah, that's why I'm chewing on the neutral safety. What I've come up with so far involves normally closed switches and pressure plates around the gear shifter or something connected to the parking brake.

    Remote start

I'm chewing on this and the solutions I've come up with all end up being a PITA to the operator or not feasible. I'm gonna chew on it some more...

    Remote start

All- This wasn't meant to start a pre-trip/post trip argument. It was meant as a mental excersize to see if it was POSSIBLE to add a remote start to the truck. Sometimes we do things to our truck because it's cool to do so. Does having a remote start mean you won't pre/post trip it? No...

    Remote start

Not taking it that way at all. For me , I work with robots (electronics, hydraulics and electronically controlled electronics and hydraulics) and it is an excersize in the theory to make it work. I absolutely agree these trucks need to be checked before driving etc. As far as the shut off...

    Remote start

Maybe one day when I don't have so many irons in the fire I'll figure out how to get past the engine stop issue and others without totally re-engineering the ignition system.

    Remote start

I was perusing the forum and saw the remote start for a MEP set for sale and my brain started wondering "Has anyone rigged a remote start up to their truck, and if so, how?"

What are everyone's thoughts on 4-door M35A2 crew cabs ?

My friend, watch the movie "Girl Next Door". Not only will you fall in love with Alesha Cuthburt, but you'll get a GREAT example of that phrase in action!

    IR Driving Lights Mounting Location?

Before you commit to a location, I have IR lights mounted on the roof of my M923. I get home December 6th and will test them with my IR camera and upload some pics to give you an idea of how they do. My IR lights are from the MRAP kit, but the reflectiveness(?) from the hood etc should be...

No forum for the F-350 so...

A buddy on the rig is a Ford guy and asked if I knew of any of the old Air Force F350 crew cabs. I had never heard of such a creature, but he mentioned seeing one in the best Superman movie. (OG Christopher Reeves). To quote the old Hee-Haw song, I've searched the world over, and the only...
