Took her to the sand blasters this morning. They said they would try to have it done today. They knocked it out if the park! She's getting covered tonight then first thing in the morning is a DTM black chassis paint.

Loaded and ready for the blasting on Monday. Kept the running gear in as they said they can blast that too. While putting it together gonna regrease/clean everything again and gonna bag up the intake and winch and remove the alternator this weekend. Then hopefully Tuesday gonna start priming.

Yup. Did my M923 last year. VIN law is still in effect as far as I know. And yes, the VIN verification is required to register it as a FHMV if you're going the paint the VIN on route. I've never plated one, I've always used the stencil registration. As stated earlier, it's the cheapest down...

On a bridge truck they were located on the "headache" rack behind the cab. On my deuce, I mounted them on the rear with the swivels to act as reverse lights/rear floods.

Looks to me like a light switch that was added later. 99.9% of all toggle switches I've seen that Uncle Sugar installed had a tag explaining its function. This is a switch for floodlights from a bridging truck:

Apologies, but the "fat finger" is a reference to mis-typing a word on my phone. I meant to type "his" but my fat finger pressed the "O" instead. If you look at my threads, I often type "truck" as "teuck" and other misspellings. That is because I have fat fingers and press submit too quickly.
