For the female packards I use a snapon pwcss7cf. Which does regular small terminals and is also a wire stripper. Very handy tool. For the male packards I use a daniels af8.
I just got one in its drained too. Havent opened it to see the connections. I was just going to vac it down and charge it to spec. Thanks for the details. I have some older programs I have been able to run in win10. You can set it for xp compatibility mode and the program will usually work.
You can air it up with the front red gladhand also. But it will release the brakes regardless of dash valve position. The foot pedal will still function though.
