    C7 Starter Solenoid Napa Part#

Like I say, guy had a list the “preventative maintenance” that was being done and I don’t know if it was all because he thought it needed it or not. On the bright side, the truck runs like a mule and it seems all the big stuff is mechanically sound. Door gaskets are supposed to deliver today...

    C7 Starter Solenoid Napa Part#

I don’t know for sure if there was an issue with the original. It, along with the original starter, was in the truck when I test drove it months ago and it fired right up. The guy had a whole list of stuff he was replacing to assure it was a reliable truck/ Mechanically it is, but there are some...

    C7 Starter Solenoid Napa Part#

I was getting zero volts through the relay, and the click when it was triggered was pretty loud, so I was pretty sure it was engaging but bad. New part installed now and it fires right up. Now to either replace it with the proper military part and relegate this part to being an emergency spare...

    C7 Starter Solenoid Napa Part#

Okay, the contactor is bad. Shorting across it and it fires right up.

    C7 Starter Solenoid Napa Part#

All of that wiring is new, just done before we left Maryland, but given how many things I have had to redo, that doesn't mean there isn't an issue there. The problem started just after returning home and it was something that was just a once in a while thing. Press the starter button, nothing...

    C7 Starter Solenoid Napa Part#

Not in the parts spread sheet and a search didn’t return any useful results, so curious if anyone has a Napa part # for the starter solenoid? My truck has a C7, not sure if the starter and solenoid are the same as 3116/3126 motors. Thanks

Removing Troop Seats & Fold Down Sides On M-1081!

I got them out. Used my knipex parallel jaw pliers to grab the pins and then rolled them back against the side of the bed like a cam to push them out.

Need Help With AC Dryer Wiring

I figured out the the pinout already this morning. I have Deutsch DT 4-pin connectors, so If i can't figure out how to get the pins out of this plug, I'll just change it out. Need to get this done so I can get on to figuring out where my power steering fluid is leaking from.

Removing Troop Seats & Fold Down Sides On M-1081!

Yes, I’m permanently removing the troop seats and will be looking to rehome them.

Removing Troop Seats & Fold Down Sides On M-1081!

Thanks, that's exactly how I thought it should work, but those pins will NOT budge. The one in the photo has been soaked in PB Blaster for a while now and it still won't budge.

Need Help With AC Dryer Wiring

Hey GD. Thanks for replying, don't know what I would do without you:) The wiring in the photo is at the plug on the dryer, the truck side of the harness is three black wires and a yellow. if the wiring was the same colors on both sides of the plug this would be easy. The whole plug basically...

Need Help With AC Dryer Wiring

On my way home today, when it was actually pretty warm, my AC wasn't working. Did some snooping around and found this when I got home: I noticed when the cab was up yesterday to install my trucklite turn signals that the cab was pinching and pulling on the wires to the dryer. I rerouted them so...

    Lmtv a1r door lock key?

Well, it seems the locksmiths in my area are A) crooks, B) not prepared to work on Trimark locks, or C) completely disinterested………so, I’m joining the 1022 club.

    Lmtv a1r door lock key?

Yep, I think that’s what mine are as well.

    Lmtv a1r door lock key?

The replacement handles I got from MWME aren’t TM202. I forget what the key code is, 1088 I think. Supposedly all of these coming out of Trimark have this key, and these are pretty popular handle in the RV world so my preference would be to rekey them. That said, if I can’t find a smith willing...

    Lmtv a1r door lock key?

Looks correct, but the TM202 key code is the military code they all get keyed to, so in theory there are a boat load of those keys floating around. If you’re after security, I would have them rekeyed before installing them.

    Lmtv a1r door lock key?

I got my new door handles, latches, and locks today. Mad a special trip down the hill to the locksmith to have the cylinders in the door handles rekeyed before installing them. I about fell over when the flunky at the counter comes back after talking with the locksmith and tells me it would be...

    A1R Bumper Options

Curious if anyone else with an A1R has addressed the incredibly cheesy front bumper? For a truck with almost 20,000 curb weight, the bumper is ridiculous, and let's not even talk about the fiberglass skid plat that is the protection for my AC condenser and radiator. I've been told the A0 bumper...

info on front turn signal wire numbers

I was looking for this info for the rear the other day when I found this thread, which will make changing out the front easier today. Didn't find the rear info, so I had to figure it out, so I thought I would post the rear numbers here so it's all in the same place for the next person looking...
