Yup , follow the above advice . I just installed a set of standard Delco gas shocks all around on my 1031 , also while you are checking shocks don't forgot the steering damper , most are like tire pumps after 35 years .
I have never had a problem registering MV's in NYS at my county DMV office . I even got my M35A3 registered as a 1971 rebuilt as it should be not a 1992 as stated on the GL paperwork . Remember one thing in NYS land the local DMV's are county and DMV itself is state , which sets the rules that...
Now that is close to home , small world indeed !!!! Amazing it is in that good condition considering it came out of western NY . what with the liquid acid they put on the roads in winter . Very nice truck . Good luck , Bob k
Welcome to the MV world !!! LOTS of great people and information on this site . I wold hook with a MV group in your area ,Finger Lakes Military Vehicle group is close to you check out their website . FYI , can't have just one green iron , more is way BETTER . good luck in your search , bob k:beer:
I am having a memory lapse here LOL !!! why do they have that "off road only" on the HMMWV's ???? they are no better or worse than any other MV that gets sold.Maybe the fix is to get that removed , but I am sure that is easier said then done
Hemming's has a article on their website today about the governors veto of the military vehicle registration bill . After reading the article all I can add is what a mess for military vehicle owners in Michigan . Talk about over reach by the state . One reason given was MV's don't have a 17...

Can you say secondary inspection !!!! as a FYI , custom people have NO sense of humor !!!! LOL also go online and check for prohibited items BEFORE you cross ! Also don't forget to check the wait times at your crossing , it could be long , sitting on the bridge for an hour is no fun . On a...
Look in the starter hole with a light and you should be able to see if the ring gear is good or if the teeth are damaged in anyway . For the starter to not engage it would have to have some major damage , missing ring gear teeth . You should be able to push start it , but that gets old after a...
Let me ask this . is the starter not engaging the flywheel ?? if so sounds like a bad starter , or wrong starter . How are you jumping the starter ? did you jump it at the starter solenoid ??? could also be a bad flywheel ring gear . That could be a bigger issue .
Do you have spark ? Fuel? mag switch on ? kinda hard to diagnosis from here , G503 site has a pretty good Mule information section . and before somebody else says it down load the the TM's . keep us posted , it should not be anything to serious , were you having issues before ?
Looks like it is all there , yup , take a second pair of eyes when you go for a check out ride . It does have the the air compressor relief valve fix , so it has some service in the past . It was rebuilt in 93 from a A2 to a A3 , probably serviced in 2000's , check the LS door frame for tags and...
