What some have implied is true. If you were trying to buy a truck cheap a good way to clear out competition is to post a problem with the engine. I am not saying that is the case here I am just saying it is possible. There are people on the site that I would believe this information from but it...
I use three in a 27 foot travel trailer. On the deuce cab I would go with one bar under the passenger seat on the trans hump. I would also put at least one in the bed if it is a covered bed.
Mike,
I need a M101a1 parking brake cable if you can find one. I am talking about the trailer with the M37 wheels not the newer style with the eight bolt wheels. I will follow up with a PM also.
Thanks
Chuck
All the stuff I have use and the stuff I have on hand is Gray. Where did you get yours? Locally or did you send away? If it was locally clue me in to that price.
Thanks
Chuck
I have used Irish spring with all my storage and it works great. I used it for years in my travel trailer and my cars in storage. My travel trailer was in an area that was a field a few years before and we have a lot of field mice in the area. Never had a problem with Irish Spring and I use it...
I may get the epoxy tinted. I also found some red oxide colored epoxy. I was originally just going to use the red oxide exclusively but the article had me rethinking. I have used the epoxy before and it worked great. I will have to see if it is cheaper to get the stuff tinted or get the already...

The glow plugs need to be swapped as the cucv uses 12 volt plugs and the humvee uses 24 volt. I also think every sensor needs to be changed. I thought the humvee has all packard connnectors while the cucv uses gm connectors. I am not sure about the sensors but that was rattling around in my head.
I may be wrong, but the placement would be a good spot for a support bracket for the chiller mechanism that some of them had. I know we had one and it was never installed.
Some deuces came with carc from the factory. The last trucks were made in the late 80's and by that time they were coming out with the three color. So, some trucks did come with three color or just green carc. Most did come out with the semigloss OD.
The line goes across the inner and out part of the balancer from the inside to the outside edge. When the lines do not line up it is time for another balancer.
You are correct sir. I need the extraction tool. It all started with the cucv not starting as fast as it should and not starting on one glow plug cycle. I know what this means so I tried to pull the connectors off to check the glow plugs for continuity. Two of the plugs were so rusted at the...
