I have never seen it but there is alot of people having issues with the noise suppressor (add on part on the pump) shorting. I believe they can be removed. There should be in the wire going to the pumps a black round rubber block. That os a disconnect. If you unplug that place the run...
First do you have the manuals (click the TM link up above if you dont). can you follow a wiring diagram and use a volt meter?
No fuel is from a float in the day tank, so if the pumps are inoperative that may be an accurate fault.
need to follow the diagram and see where you are loosing...
Youre welcome, I have never done on this exact thing but i did use this method to remove a lovejoy from an electric motor. Acetylene will work, be careful not to go too nutso on it. The last time i did something like this it was a mapp gas plumbers torch. keep the heat in ckeck and keep...
I personally use a product by CRC called Knocker loose. Works very well on seized parts. Disclaimer: I have never actually pulled a blower on a 003, But the concept is about the same, I load the puller, heat the hub around the shaft and tap with a hammer as the puller loosens tighten it...
Its more for aluminum wire, But NOALOX works well for preventing future corrosion. beware though, NOALOX is attracted to clean clothing and you will need a young priest and an old priest to clean it off.
It is only for paralleling sets, Its an anti motorizing thing (basically the parallel set is driving harder than this set so its no longer generating power and is basically now an electric motor turning a diesel engine.
You should size based on the load, If you dont get these things to run around 50 to 80% rated load they will start wetstacking (buildup of unburnt fuel gunk in the exhaust, and eventually the head) which can be cleaned out by some good heavy loaded running. The ones I selected were more based...
greetings and welcome to the fun
1. not sure tbh
2 somethings missing it can be as simple as a battery or larger, you have to look close at the pics
3 load dependant, for these sizes id say no more than 1 gallon per hour but dont quote me
4 anything can be fixed with enough money and...
Guy beat me to it... quick and easy test, turn on the panel lights and see if they go out when the batteries are disconnected. Long term I would be interested in the DC voltage.
Noalox works great, only problem is 1 drop of it is: A. enough to coat a full grown elephant B. Is attracted to a clean shirt and C cant be cleaned off with anything less than lava soap and an SOS pad. Its like anitseize had a one night stand with napalm.
Doesnt have to be salt water, moisture in general can start the reaction. Another concern (and more likely cause of battery corrosion) is Electrolytic Corrosion. But why split hairs
I made something for the 6 gallon cans I have. I basically have an an to npt adapter in a bushing, then i threaded a fitting to the internal diameter with a dip tube. Took some slight machining and a weld
