In the last picture, what exactly are you pointing to? I thought the housing that contained the air filter was hanging off the top part of the compressor above your finger?
I recently contacted a local VFW regarding this since myself and others assist them with parades and other functions. They have lobbyists that lobby on their behalf and are going to look into this also. While the bills do not appear to effect participating with them in their events, the...
I would be curious to know what exactly barred them from getting historic tags. If they were barred from getting historic tags because they are prohibited from using the trucks in business/commerce or for profit/hire under the historic tag restrictions then they would be rightfully barred. If it...
I will be there, possibly with two guests. I recently met and invited 2 WWII veterans to the breakfast on Saturday. I am waiting on confirmation. I know the weather keeps a lot of trucks from attending, but how many trucks do we think will be there? I'm sure they would love to see some.
Yes, it is next Saturday 2/11 at 10:00 am. We usually gather on the parking lot behind the Bob Evans at 10:00 and then go in to eat around 10:30. Hope to see you there. Go to the upcoming events header and find the Breakfast in Eldersburg post. You can RSVP there.
Don't know if this helps or not, but my generator stopped working a while back also. I took the rear cap off and found this resistor that had exploded. Purchased a new one and replaced it, but haven't tested it since I put it all back together. I swapped out my generator for one of Wolverine...
Glad to hear it was only the thermostat. The tube you refer to is normal. It is the road draft tube which vents from the crankcase. It is normally connected to a tube/hose that extends down towards the axle/road to get it away from the engine so it's not spewing oil over everything.
Interesting. I wouldn't think that amount of oil would be coming from the road draft tube while running. Does it look like it is coming from the oil pan gasket and getting thrown around by the fan? Was it leaking oil before it overheated or after? From the video, it looks like the leak is...
Nice seeing everyone at the breakfast. Jared, glad you could make it, sent you info via PM on the top repair. Not my ideal after breakfast experience as I got rear ended on the way home. Wish I was in my truck instead of my personal vehicle, damage to my vehicle would have been a lot less...
I should be there also. Anyone have a step for a front bumper they want to part with? I'm gettin a little tired of ripping the seat out of my pants trying to get a leg up to climb up on the bumper/fender to open the hood.
I have heard that the anti-drainbacks still leak and do not hold all the oil in the filter. If you don't run your truck for a while, the oil seeps back and the filters are empty. Over time, the seals in the antidrainback also fail and they are just normal filters. Anyone else experience this? I...

I like this T-handle style and also tried one this way but have not installed. My only concern was the body of the grenade is very thin, it only allowed for about three threads when tapped. Have you noticed any issues with stripping, looseness, damage to the end of the shifter or play due to...
