You know, there's a ton of knowledge on here. If you came on here and asked for some assistance, it would probably be repaired before dinner. Instead you come on here and fight everybody and will probably lose your sale since you guys don't seem to know how to fix it. Good luck with everything...
Easy now! I have issue with people buying, driving and selling a huge price of equipment that can kill people when they know very little about it and how to operate it safely. Based on the info so far, you both don't seem to know much about it. Second, this guy is getting a loan to buy this...
Are you sure somebody didn't just install bolts that are way too long and their bottomed out on the crank? If that is the case, the bolts could be extremely tight but not even touching the pulley thus the reason it is loose but the bolts are tight. Probably a RRAD truck....

Hopefully the price is good since it seems this guy doesn't know much about it and is trying to make a quick buck. Probably still has the auction stickers on the window.....

Don't over think this. Spend the money on good, standard batteries (matched), name brand high amp alternator, gear reduction starter, block heater and ether start. Unless your headed to the Fairbanks wilderness for extended periods, you won't need all of this other crazy stuff. It's just more...
My idle was at 450ish when I got the truck. Bumped it to just under 600 and it made a huge difference.
For the OP, I would carry ether for the just in case type situation but focus on getting it running perfect and less on ether. If your in an off grid type situation, you'll probably have a...
What he said. Mine will start without issue down to around 20 degrees. At around 15 it will start but cranks a while so good batteries are needed. Not sure below that, never tried. What's your idle set it? Any smoke after warmed up? I think ether start is the least of your worries if your...
Start in gear and go like **** on it's final ride! Be sure to record for our enjoyment!
Seriously though, was it fuel related run away or oil through the turbo? Lots of smoke out the stack? Check oil level

I had no problem turning the 16s on mine but even the slightest hill at freeway speed would slow it down some. It was never designed to be a freeway machine though. When loaded I would do one through five in low range, shift to high and do four and five again.

I sold mine a while back but I upgraded to Hemtt rims with 16.00R20's. Jegs shift boot item number 62380. Proper 50 weight oil in trans and T case. 20k BTU Universal cab heater off eBay installed under dash. Coolant filter. Dap 230 caulking in black to seal front window Frames up. Remote...
Deuce arb locker is $1k. $1500 for a 5 ton seems doable and reasonable. Like the guy above said, where do I send my deposit?

Fmtv guys got ARB to commit if they had 50 pre sold. I though a few different guys were working on this but all have fell through.

The above post says a lot.
1st, 2500 miles of use on an MV (with no data or pics to back it up) is hardly proven.
2nd, your not very familiar with your product since the specs were incorrect. Our guys on here know there stuff inside and out.
3rd, longer belt, another alt and mounting bracket...
