New M35A2 home and on the jack stands looking for the wheel issue

I don't think some high temp silicone will hurt anything. Not sure how much one would apply though as I've never had to mess with the axle seals or anything like that, that didn't already have a seal on it. How much silicone did you apply and how was it applied?

    M35A2 tires / wheel combo

What does your deuce have for tires right now?

New M35A2 home and on the jack stands looking for the wheel issue

I know the deuces vibrate a lot, but a drive shaft out of balance, bad bearing, sometimes bad U-joints, will cause severe vibrations as if your tires are so out of balance. It's definitely not a steady or typical vibration one expects in a deuce. I had a bad U-joint that caused that issue with...

    $4 a gallon!

I've heard too many reasons to believe one is truly valid over the other. However, it is of my opinion that our government has recovered UFO's with gravity manipulation properties, take Roswell for example. I figured we would've already had flying vehicles like the Jetsons, but I guess too many...

New M35A2 home and on the jack stands looking for the wheel issue

If the drive shaft was bent or bad pinion bearing, wouldn't there be a lot of excessive vibration? Maybe it's just my lack of knowledge on different types of wheel bearing grease on the market, but I haven't seen that type of grease look like a rusty brown type of color. One way to check the...

    M35A2 Air Pack Questions???

That's not a bad idea. I haven't had that happen to me as far as foliage catching them and releasing air, but I've had them get stuck open due to mud and dirt. I now spray mine with WD-40 every once in a while and that stopped. Only thing I'd be concerned about, if you took it through some mud...

    $4 a gallon!

If it's high in fat, it'll gel, especially when cold but usually when it's collected, the gelled substance can be filtered out, though it clogs filters up quick. I've used it in cooler temps before, not quite freezing, but cool enough for the fat to gel up, and when mixed with gas or diesel, I...

    Cleaning data plates

I've used acetone to clean off paint, but those look faded and rusty. Might be better off ordering new plates that either come with those numbers stamped on them or stamp them on yourself. If you're patient enough, could always clean those plates off and use some stencils and redo them, but...

    $4 a gallon!

Best thing to do is mix it with fuel like diesel or gas. I've ran wvo before and here's my biggest problem with it, it made me hungry all the time as it smelled like a deep fryer and I could tell if they cooked fries, fish, or chicken in it. Tactical Repair has warned about mixing wvo with wmo...

    M35 Variations Rarity

The A2 and A3 are the most common ones you'll find now. The other versions have had more years to be dismantled, scrapped, modified, ect, but there are still a few around, but those are more so restoration projects and the owners are more likely to limit their uses with them. One thing I do find...

Yup. I don't doubt the evilness of nuclear power though, those who don't understand it or know how it works are just scared of it and having a Chernobyl all over the country, when it really is a safe power alternative. When looking into solar, people are rediculous! A company wanting to sell me...

The thing is, the power grids are going to need a lot of restructuring. We are already instructed to try and to conserve energy as to not over load the power grids, yet, if A/C and other like forms of housing equipment we use to be comfortable makes that big of a difference, how much of a...

    Haspin 2022

Thanks I really appreciate that! He's been bragging about how he got to drive and took a little driving test. He definitely had a lot of fun as did I. Honestly, if your wife took him home, I'd give it a couple weeks before you guys would be getting a hold of me, begging me to take him back 😆...
