You will probably have DOT issues with that trailer and the 4x4 on top unless a lot of modifications are done.
Check your states requirements also.
As already mentioned, it will sit high and have CG issues.
The axle and springs should work for that amount of vehicle weight but with all the...
Finding the individual lens might be tough, but plenty of NOS complete lights are on the online auction site.
Standard and LED.
Depends on how much $$ you want to spend.
Some are all plastic and some are aluminum housing with plastic lenses.
Post your needs in the Parts Wanted section if you...
Is there a part number anywhere on that new style lever?
I see the cage number in one pic.
Replacement levers for these trailers are almost impossible to find. The correct ones anyway.
As already mentioned, their just rusted.
Once you get them freed up and working, keep them lubed well.
Thanks for the info.
It still doesn’t cover this particular trailer.
It’s wider than a normal M101A1 and includes the dual wheels.
Nothing I’ve found/seen so far mentions the dual wheels and 3 extra leaf springs layers.
Patched up the holes and secured the side panel to keep weather out.
I missed the small one. Will put a screw in it tomorrow.
Will probably install a solid sheet of aluminum at some point in the future in its place.
It’s built like an aluminum tank.
I have it up on all 3 jacks right now and it doesn’t budge at all when standing on it and trying to make it move or even wiggle a bit.
Zero flex. on fenders or boxes.
Plenty of storage built in.
Going to install NOS wire harness this weekend if weather...

Hard to tell in pics but it came from factory that way. Hence the modified wording on the data plate.
Way too nice aluminum work for unit level.
When I removed the inner rim, I had nice paint staring back at me.
On the wheel studs and drum face that hadn’t been exposed to weather.
Definitely an old and odd trailer.
No clue.
Time and $$$
Old radar unit would be cool.
I bet that will never be on the surplus sites. Wish I had pics of this particular trailer when it was complete.
Would be pricey if you could even find the proper radar.
With the labor for the lock ring rims, I’ll have $1k just for 4 new...
I understand Very well TRADOC and bumper numbers.
It’s this particular odd trailer that’s throwing me a curve.
The rear aluminum bumper has small threaded holes so instead of painting the unit, etc, on the bumper, you can simply make a plate with same info and screw it on.
So sanded the rear bumper a bit today to hopefully read the unit markings.
Left side: TDC ADB
Right side: X301
Training & Doctrine Command?
Air Defense Battery?
X for experimental since this was one of the very first FireFinder units?
I do take care of it.
Did full service on it today and also installed two brand new Optima battery’s.
Topped off tank and parked it.
She’s ready to go when needed.
Just over a week ago, Western and Central Oklahoma had a historic early season ice storm that crippled parts of the state. Some areas received 4” of ice.
Hundreds of thousands of people without power and at or below freezing temperatures for days.
Most of foliage still on trees was biggest...
