Thank you
I already found that info
Plus those companies were zero help.
I also tried Croft and eTrailer, Dexter and Redneck.
Nothing.
I did not mention it was off a military/government trailer. Just gave part numbers.
The NSN basically circled me back around to what I already had.
I was...
I have hit a search wall.
I am replacing the seals and bearings on the O2 trailer I recently recovered.
Have found all the parts:
Bearings/Races, new nut, caps, etc
EXCEPT the grease seal!!
This generic wheel is used on everything from hydraulic test stand to air compressors to warehouse...
Added engine oil (Mobil 1 Delvac) and installed new fuel filter and fuel line.
Original line was hard as a rock and would literally snap if you tried to move it at all.
Installed new clamps too
The smaller fuel return line (which I didn’t have) was fine. You could bend it 90 degrees and it...
I would remove the damaged parts and use a hydraulic press to bend things back.
An anvil or good vise and bench to beat on wouldn’t hurt either.
The “no frills” presses aren’t that expensive and should work fine.
Use heat if you need to.
It will take some coaxing, but it is definitely...
Yea
That was fairly common damage to these.
You will never find new parts.
Best bet is post the pictures in the parts wanted forum.
It’s simply the tow bar and swivel plate.
I’ve seen a lot worse.
Either fix what you have or hope you find another unit someone is parting out.
Watch GP for...
I never found the TO for this.
It’s restricted for some reason and my FOIA request went unanswered.
The manuals for the engine and generator are posted in the TM section but never found anything for the rest of the unit.
The tow bar and steering setup, wheels/tires, etc were used on several...
I do not know.
I picked it up from the GP yard in Abilene, Kansas
Just figured it was Army since so close to Fort Riley.
I found the commercial parts, user and maintenance manuals online for the engine only.
The pump is a different story.
American-Marsh was no help.
All I need to know really...
Parts arrived today
New fuel filter and hose.
Should be enough hose to replace them all.
Anyone who buys one will have to replace the hoses.
All of the units at GP in Abilene were cracked.
Will be at least another week until it’s warm enough here to start it.
Picked up this potable water pump this week.
Brand new and looks to only have been started for acceptance.
They didn’t even paint Unit numbers on this. Just a pump number tape that easily came off.
The 1 1/2” galvanized pipe is included in the shipping crate from factory and was installed and...
I washed it and cleaned the interior and all the glass inside and out. I can actually see now!
Most of the factory paint is gone off the wheels and has a surface rust patina. Debating to repaint wheels or leave alone.
Body needs a repaint but doubt if it ever gets one.
Used my brush hog to move trailer around.
Spur of the moment move since I was driving by it with tractor.
This one I leave sitting on the North acreage.
I still don’t know exactly what to do with it so I just move it around every few weeks.
