    Murray ultra 55358 thermostat

Thanks Jimmy, I wasn't aware of that number, my local O'reillys has that one. [thumbzup]

    Murray ultra 55358 thermostat

Yea Kurt that's where I got one a year or so ago , looks just like this one & works perfectly. The ones shown now are a little shorter ,no jiggler and are iffy on temperature. I've been through this with my 69 firebird, junk thermostats won't run near advertised temperature.

    Murray ultra 55358 thermostat

Can anyone still find a Murray ultra 55358 thermostat, 180° with the little jiggler? It works perfectly, all I can now is a cheap motorad.

    Question-will a 1100lb 803A operate successfully on a steel 1,400lb load garden cart?

Trailer I agree with Coug, that trailer's too narrow, it would be pretty top heavy and if tires failed on one side it probably roll over. Search your local sales for a used trailer. I picked up a 4x8 harbor freight folding trailer for $100. Bolted it together permanently (non folding) welded...

    MEP- 803A All Weather Enclosure

My trailer looks lower than it is, it's sat "there" for awhile. 12" tires give it about 7" axel clearance.

    MEP- 803A All Weather Enclosure

It doesn't require a massive trailer, if you don't plan to hook onto it and haul ass off-road or across country. I found a used harbor freight folding 4x8 trailer on FB for $100, bolted it together permanent(non folding) welded 2 6"x8' sheets of 3/16 steel on top, this really stiffened up the...

    Hello All, New member here

Welcome Wills, We're nearly neighbors, I'm in Summerfield. Nice looking 803, I have one as well along with a 831a, & going to Pa. Next week to pick up a pair of 802s on a trailer. Make sure your gen has the quad fuse mod. Peace Brian

    MEP- 803A All Weather Enclosure

Welcome bubba, A couple of questions: Where's the power meter to the home? Most, not saying all, but most have power meter, A/C, (utilitys) in a side of the home with no Windows. That would be optimum location for the gen set. Be aware of your local codes on backup generators. "Fixed" units...

    Fair price for a MEP-803A?

Demoh told me , he ran a miller 250 welder full blast on an 802a.

803 vs central air unit...no go

Yeah find a better cheap used stove. Mine will bring my 803 right up to about 90%, add a fan and space heater ,takes it over 100. My 803 will start my antique 3 ton ac no problem. It must have a hard start kit ,looking at the LRA of my ac. P.s. Hope your fairing well as Dorian is upon you...

    MEP-003A hook up question

Clean your gauge connectors, could just be cruddy connections. Electronic parts spray works wonders on several switches.

    Mep-8xx 400Hz to 60Hz conversion

There's an 803 with seized engine up for auction tomorrow in Georgia.

Mep-803a Fuel or Electrical problem. Will Not Trip.

You may want to change the fuel filter too. I just did my first major service on mine and look what I found. Looks like original filter.

    Florida generator installs

I think if there's enough wind to move a ton of machine & trailer , the house will be gone as well, or damaged too bad to power hardwired. I kept it mobile. Just my opinion. Peace Brian

    Newbie with an -803a

I picked up my 803 Dec "17" , has pulsetech , I put 2 cheap wal-mart group 26 batterys to it and it's started every time. It only gets an hour or 2 of direct sunlight a day and batterys are always 25v. Brian
