The ground connection spade should be a direct connection to the shell of the assembly and when using the ground line to the mounting bolt the assembly is now grounded to the truck. Knowing the connectors put 24v to the power connector and the ground wire to the new battery. The unit should...
Which wire are you calling #27? On the schematic the top wire is ground. The second wire down is power. The third wire down is to send power to the washer pump. The ground ring wire goes to one of the mounting lugs for the assembly. If you are bench testing the unit, use a meter to determine...
The old F4 was a great looking aircraft for sure. Now if you want to talk about relatively ugly aircraft but only because of their necessary requirements Look no further the the Guppies.
Great aircraft
Great aircraft and reliable as hell. The best looking jet airliner IMHO was the old DC9. She had such great lines. You guys should read up on the old
de Havilland Comet. Fantastic aircraft unfortunately had a major design flaw in those square windows.
This must have very recently happened still full of grease and only a 2" cut. I know I should just replace the CV shaft but for now I just want to replace the boot with a split boot. I understand it won't last like the proper one. I have the 10.2 shaft setup M998A2. My question is does anyone...
You can find an NOS windshield wiper motor/switch assembly on fleebay for under a hundred bucks. I came up with a fix for the contacts under the windshield. Just liberally spray the bottom of the windshield where it folds with WD40 in the center about a foot wide. I did this to mine two years...
You can buy some high temp gasket material and just make up a gasket and have in large enough to grab the bolts. You could cut up some header wrap to make a good gasket.
Easy fix.

It's a little different as before I purchased the Hmmwv I had my M101A2 that I paint matched to my buddies Pinzgauer 712M. It is a WWII Panzer green with an extra shot of black. Liked the color so much when I painted the HMMWV I went the same way. I get many compliments on the color.

Great product but get the military one. As I recall it pulses at around 36 volts and keeps sulfates from forming on the cell plates of the battery. Meant to keep the battery in a good state for months. My M998 sits outside and hardly ever use it in the winter to keep Massachusetts rock salt off...
The sun is your friend when it comes to house paint curing. Don't wash it Don't wipe it just leave it alone. After three weeks or so you can wash the truck. My Behr paint has been on now for over 4 years and has held up very well. Hope this helps.

Mine runs between 220 to 235. Just the way these things are. I would love to get her down to 190 but oh well. If the water pump is spinning and no outside leaks then more than likely it's fine.. wish someone came out with a lower temp probe switch..

They are magnesium I believe. The bed can be used as a ground for anything we are doing but Mg is not a great conductor. I would use SS fasteners and washers and lube the contact surfaces with copper never seize and don't over tighten. I really want an M274. Had a chance a few years ago for a...
Much greater chance that a Carrington event will happen again as it just happened 170 years ago. Back to the stone age overnight. Interesting read.
