wow! so no one has a mep-806b?? well i did verify that it is not a wix 51243 oil filter, seems that one spins right onto the block, mine has a remote filter mount with large, fine threads. for fuel it 'may' be a wix 33531, but i don't have the locking ring that attaches it to the mount.
injectors are so cheap, i would just put a new set in. cheaper than having them serviced. i guarantee yours are bad, in all the sets i have tested always 1/2 or more are not working correctly.
i would saw that is way excessive, but i have seen worse. mine is a 1974 engine that was run hot several times, has scored cylinder walls, piston noise, and for some reason has almost no blow-by.
remove the line from the top of the pump and then remove the top section, the next nut. use some 2+2 gum cutter and clean the plunger. the injection system is self priming so you probably have a stuck pump.
yes you need a scrap yard nearby. i got the complete brake setup from a UD box truck = 2 airpacks and a dryer, then mounted a 900 series pedal assy on the firewall.
it doesn't have to be expensive. that usually happens when you cannot do it yourself. i re-engineered the entire brake system for around $400 and got an air dryer as well.
that's because when you search for 11707, you get all the meters they make. if you are not pickey about match there are many on e***
actual part numbers are:
freq 72-5016 or 638-18049
amp 72-5007-1 or 72-5007-2
volt 72-5008
disclaimer: while this info might be correct, check for yourself to...
did you have someone hold the clutch in to see if it was the trans? did you remove the 3 bolts on the IP drive gear? is there a big hole in the side of the block that you didn't notice??
if all are no, you would know what 2 cylinders it could be by the position it stops turning. but in any case...
ok, i see the problem, that is not a part number, it is the cage code for that manufacturer and everything they make will have that number as their cage number.
i got the HF one, $100 or less and it has a wireless screen that detaches so you can fasten the camera somewhere and then drive the vehicle to monitor. the lighted camera is very small.
i don't think people realize just how rough and beat that truck really is. to me that is just barely a parts truck. the winch, hard top and engine are about the only good things there (maybe) the rest is just going to be hard to get rid of.
since you will have to remove the intake anyway (maybe) get a small amgnet on a wire, open the intake valve, your choice which one, you know it isn't 1 or 6, and fish around.
remove ip gear to eliminate that since it turns at crank speed. make sure it is not some external thing. best guess is that something was in a port and fell into cylinder when valve opened. time to remove head. since it has not run you should be able to reuse the head gasket. sucks, but worse...
