Sorry for the late reply haha If its still relevant, no you do not need any special license to operate a Deuce.

    M35A3 Taillight Malfunction

The signal switch on the steering column was the culprit on my A2 for my brake light issues. The single switch interrupts the break lights in order to have the bulbs flash while holding the brakes. It caused the tail lights to stay lit up, regardless of brake switch condition. The contacts...

    differences between rims?

Hey Section8! I made my own adapter plates for HEMTT rims using CNC equipment. I still have the DXF file handy, for a fellow Canadian the best deal you will find anywhere. Also I've made a few friends in Washington State and Oregon. Rims and Tires for decent price and minimum shipping costs...

So I think the clutch in my deuce might be toast. Off the top of my head I believe it may have been contaminated with oil. It was a rapid decay, over the course of a 50 km drive the clutch went from slipping in 4 th and 5 th to now slipping in 2nd and 3rd gears between the 1500 and 2300 rpm...

    395/85 on factory a2 wheels

I have the tubes still I'll look when I get home. Off the the top of my head I'd say a 30% loss in the steering. That alone was enough from me to start looking at other rim options.

    395/85 on factory a2 wheels

I ran them for about a year on stock rims. I found no ill effects other than a very large reduction in steering ability making right turns. The stock rim off set coupled with the wider tires causes the tire to contact the steering linkage while making right turns. Adjust the steering stops in...

The trailer looks good, I'll paint it to match the truck and convert it into the ultimate off road camp trailer. This is my friends Mercedes 5 ton military truck. It's nice to drive but a lot bigger of a truck. We will convoy out and explore more remote mountain lakes and hot springs.

Well I'm still at it up here representing the south. Took the truck out to local 4x4 event, got her pretty dirty. She performed well and pulled out at least 6 stuck trucks. Good times. I also got my cargo cover installed. The super rope was brittle so I had to use bungee cords for the time...

    Possible bad/contanimants added/wrong fuel

I had an engine knock on my Deuce. I isolated the bad injector by doing what bigbird1 sudgested. It wasnt until I started to pull the injector did I realize one of the bolts on the injector hold down had come loose. Allowing compression to bypass causing it to "knock"

    An American Deuce in Canada

Hey guys, Just checking in. Took the truck out off roading again, always a hit in among the 4x4 groups. She yanked out a number of stuck trucks. The deuce was asked to haul portions of a retired Military Bailey Bridge for group of people building an off road trail network. No sweat. For...
