If OP looks around local (at least if it is like my local) there are lots of these trucks and on this island they all come with the heater. The military brought a bunch up and then left them rather than transport them back south. Also if you shop around local you might find a really good deal.

So a bit off topic maybe. I notice everyone say to bypass the FDC or replace the IP. Can the FDC be rebuilt? I can't find anything on doing it.

May want to check the booster pump and injectors. What is the condition of the air filter? From my experience with vehicles in general which may not carry over to a duece. It is either a fuel or air issue. Possibly an airless caused by a bad gasket. Hope I am not leading you in the wrong...

Sounds good. The guy seemed really nice on the phone. Said they had just put a kit together and had it in a box to ship out to me first thing in the morning and they would track it as well as giving me tracking just to make sure it arrives properly.
