So I got a few hours to work on the truck tonight, I followed Helicools youtube video and took the valve manifold apart and cleaned everything. cab goes up and down great now. got the transmission and power steering filled up, rear brakes uncaged and drove it about 4 truck links up the drive...
So made a lot of progress today. Diesel was the only fluid in the truck so far. so i put fluids in finally got the cab lifted, oil, coolant, batteries primed pump and it fired right now. cab is stuck 2/3rds of the way up fought for 2 1/2 hours just to get to that point, front rubber isolators...
FYI for anyone picking items up at Springtown. They only allow pick up mon-Wed 8am-2p. GP customer care did not have the correct days of operation but did give the contact for the site. Normally its on the release form but not this time so just some FYI
Does anyone have information on the Springtown GP lot. GP does not give a local contact. is it a military base? The address comes up as Hasty Equipment Sales?
The truck is at the GP lot in in springtown, Texas. Brakes are caged batteries are missing. I am hoping it starts right up and drives, but i did not plan on my EUC going through in one day which put me in a situation where i can't just leave my job for a week or two and go get the truck.
I am in that situation right now. i bought an LMTV Wednesday 3/25/2022 submitted the EUC 3/26 and it took 24 hours to be approved. waiting till the truck is in the drive way to tell the wife. no going back now. I really thought this was going to be a long process
I have a m1078 that is in springtown, Tx and needs transported to Wapakoneta, Ohio. Truck seems to be complete. unknown if it will start, but the brakes are already caged. Looking for a transport company. I do not want fork lift damage as i have seen in other threads
Can a moderator delete...
Ok just bought a 1997 1078 Off GP sent in my EUC as i know that takes time. When i go to check out it gives me the option of an SF97 or State Certificate of Title different fees. Any one in Ohio have experience with this. I do not want to mess this up. Truck is in Texas. I have talked with...
Someone is going to be mighty disappointed when they go get their MEP 1041 that was labeled an MEP 1040 that they paid 7500 dollars for today still some parts value but probably not 7500 worth
I have had my 1040 for a while now, getting ready to finally load test it now that the weather is getting warmer and will be pouring a pad for it to sit on outside. Right now it sits dry in the shop. anyway on to my observations and curiousness. my unit was slightly damaged on the bottom which...
I am now the proud owner of both and MEP 803a with 7hrs and an mep 1040 with 11 hours both manufactured in 2013. trying to decide on which one to liquidate. things i like about both. I do have to say 803 group 34 agm batteries are cheaper and easier to get in my area than group 51r's, but the...
It had to be dry storage. not a lick of rust on this machine. Unfortunately not even a optima charger would bring the batteries back. Sams club had a sale today on batteries so we are up and running with zero issues. Inventory stickers were all over this thing including 4 Electronic tags. I...
just picked a Generator up there Monday. Was a good experience except the address does not actually exist on Google. I did call the friday before and they had not pulled the item, but it only took 10-15 minutes to load.
