    X doors

I did some trading with one of the Guard units about 2005...I had about $180 in all four doors . Wasn't that big a deal back then because of the number of trucks in private hands . Those folks who bought Humvee parts back before the surge of trucks on the market are the smart ones. They took a...

    X doors

I cut loose a set I had about a year ago....they were 85-90% with great glass and seals. I put them out for $2400..they lasted about 48 hrs. I like my soft doors for the ease of on/off.. I let someone else hold on to the "cool" factor. SEMPER FI keith

    Oldest M37

Latest MV mag that made it to my mail box yesterday has a article on the "oldest" M37 still running. With the info provided in the article I did the math on my oldest M37 (April-51) and it seems to be the 1450th vehicle off the line. Four months into production and they had over 1400 trucks...

M37 ran fine for last years parades, this year, not so much

ALL I run in my older trucks and small engine stuff is Non-eth. My older engines also get a lead additive to the fuel....helps with the valves from what I've been told. The kick in the butt is that the pump that went bad was 10 yrs old...with only 60 miles on it. I keep a vehicle log on each...

M37 ran fine for last years parades, this year, not so much

Follow up on the fuel delivery issue. I replaced my stock fuel pump with a spare and the jumping/bucking in the higher rpm's was cured. It runs well again. Two side notes, first on removing the old pump I did notice that one of my factory pump bolts was slightly loose. My train of thought told...

M37 ran fine for last years parades, this year, not so much

I'm having the same issue right now with one of my M37's. It hasn't been driven in almost two years..stored with non-eth. I'm having a fuel delivery issue. Primer on stock fuel pump primes filter and carb..but will not deliver enough fuel for higher speeds very long. I cleaned the in- tank...

    M37USMC rear shackles

I got these off a 1951 USMC truck that came out of Port St. Joe , Florida. The City was using it for a brush truck. And you are correct...originals are hard to locate. SEMPER FI !! keith

    M-37 fuel pump rebuild

That is one of the greatest fears for me with these trucks and why I keep a check on the oil level closely. As far as rebuilding a fuel pump goes I have sent several to John @ Mid-West Military to be repaired so the internals will take the new gas. I'm sure there are others on this site that...

    M37 tailgate value

There was a guy a number of years back (2008 ?) that was doing sheet metal for jeeps and some other stuff like the M37 tailgates. I can't remember his name but I talked with him @ Aberdeen one year when he did a few prototype tailgates. I later learned he had died before he could refine his...

    M37 tailgate value

I posted this pic about 6 or 7 yrs ago for a NOS tailgate I have. Was asking $600 I think. You would thought I had bad mouthed the Commandant. Price will vary with what kind of project you are looking to do. A show truck will need a better tailgate which is more $$$ or body work, a trail truck...

    M37 spark plugs

Hey Gunny....I feel your pain. Way back when the stuff was cheap and available I bought a bunch of it for use on my M37's. After 8 or 10yrs I started looking to replace items used in normal up keep only to find they had increased in price by 200% on some things and the others are now made in...
