Nope that's not the sugar scoop mount. That's the standard mount for the AB15, The sugar scoop with stand-off looks like this. And is used with the MX-6707 antenna.
And the next Episode is up! This time we are tackling the common broken oil line on the back of the 230 Tornado motor in this series of trucks. And how I handled the replacement without removing the engine or cutting an access hole in the firewall.
Outstanding, try and save as many as you can. There looks like there are a lot of really good parts and a lot of the really hard to find parts still with them. I'm doing my part to save some as well, here are the 3 from my collections that are restored.

Up now is the next episode in the Green Iron TV series on the restoration on the newest 67' M725 Ambulance that I have been working on. This episode is all about turning the Jeep back to it's original OD Green as we paint it in this episode. So please take a moment to check it out and like and...

Yep, I bought a 5 gallon pail of Evapo-rust and after cleaning out the heavy stuff in the tank, poured the Evapo-rust in and let the tank set on each side for a day to allow the Evapo-rust to work. It is supposed to work better than using white vinegar to eat the rust, and you don't have to...
Episode #3 is up on the restoration on this 1967 Jeep M725 ambulance. We are working on the fuel tank along with prepping the body for paint. Please take a moment to stop by and check it out. I appreciate all the views and subscribers as I get this thing started.
Be aware that the fuel filler neck is different between the M715 and M725 so make sure you get the proper one. I just bought one for the M725 I'm working on, from a company in Greece. https://www.military-spareparts.com/
There is a company that has the rebuild kits for the original fuel pumps...
I started a YouTube channel to show the restoration on this vehicle and on many of my other vehicles. so please take a moment to watch and like, subscribe and leave a comment on YouTube to help me out getting this channel off the ground.
I would have assumed that the proper color would have been 34079 which was the forrest green used on all the vehicles from the mid 70's up after the 24087 semi-gloss era.
They may not be the prettiest of welds, but they are holding. Welding cast iron can be quite the challenge, but I managed to get the broken flange stuck back on. I wanted to just try it to see if I could do it good enough without cracking the cast iron from excess heat from the weld. It turned...
And the number one reason why you fix a broken exhaust pipe or hangers right away on these trucks. The weight bouncing cracks and breaks the cast iron manifold. The previous owner left the exhaust pipe broken at the muffler for years and here is the result. Broken off ear. Luckily I have a...
