You do not need to adjust your air pressure.
I’ve used scotch-bride on a wooden dowel spun with a drill To clean the valve body still mounted in the truck. Also used carb and choke cleaner to devarnish.
You’re saying that you changed your batteries. Did you connect your negative cable last, and your positive cable arced at that point? Or after you tried to start it?
In the eyes of the law, your truck was abandoned. They did standard operating procedure.
