I added a wireless remote to mine, it was super easy. I tied into the electrical pigtail in the passenger dash where it comes off the option panel harness.

I bought some switch hole adapters somewhere.... they let a smaller switch fit into the 44x22mm space. I cannot find where. Bought them, but maybe you can kick something up on the interwebs.
FWIW. My old heater unit had a hole in the side right where my right knee is when driving (maybe lower). The wire came out the side panel near the lower rear corner of the unit, and ran around the corner to plug into the CTIS control.
The new A/C unit did not have the same hole, so I drilled...
I filled mine with new AW32 based on something I read here or in the manual.... I found some 5 gallon buckets at pre-inflation pricing at my local Menards.

They make a fabric dye for automotive seats and carpet and such that comes in a spray can like paint.... That might work. I thought about dying mine black or gray with it.

The blue devices are "Shelly Cloud" "Shelly One" smart relays... they will let me remote control any circuit in. the truck.
