Thanks for the info I didn't know that. I suggested that we go to any other sites that the generator might be but was told the off base GL lot was the only one. Just one more reason I won't be back to Drum until I know they have cleaned up their act.
I had a copy of all the photos plus the webpage. The only good the photos did me was for the yard boss to tell me they weren't taken at Drum because they were on gravel and Drum is all sand so I was S___ out of luck. Photos and serial numbers don't matter to Samantha at all.
There were two 2009 802a's listed with 32 hours in that auction. I thought something was not right. Samantha offered me 2 cases of MRE's which I refused for the same reason you refused the fuel tank. I see Fort Drum hasn't changed a bit.
I just arrived back home from Lockbourne with 3 lots. I can be pretty critical when things don't go as planned but I also like to give credit where credit is due.
I got there an hour early [7:00 AM] expecting a Fort Drum situation. I went in to reception and the lady at the desk was a...
I would like to hear what they have to say. I am actually in Lockbourne right now. I have a pick up appointment for 3 lots [non generator] at 8:15 tomorrow morning. I will post my experience. Hopefully it will be way more positive than my Fort Drum experience!!!
I just won 3 items from Lockbourne. It will be interesting to see how that goes. One thing I noticed is that at Fort Drum the sale and lot number photo is never on a recognizable part of the item. The items I won at Lockbourne had the lot and sale # stuck on the item so the unit was also...
The same thing happens with my replies. I would like to know why too. Am I doing something wrong. Also quite often the space bar doesn't work so all my words run together.
Hi Chris, well I got so frustrated adjusting my second units governor that I bit the bullet and ordered a new governor [$341 delivered]. I checked my governor voltages and there is 28 volts between G and F on both of my generators as compared to the 24 V that that the manual dictates. Any...
Hi I have been able to source everything i have needed for my MEP831A except a fuel cap. I Googled the NSN but got nothing. Anybody have a source? Thanks Ted
I used the 1/4 screen on my new 803A with zip ties . I bought it at TSC. I would use something more substantial on the bottom hole. It is not used for air flow just drainage and the time to put it on is before you install it because you will probably never be able to see it again to check it's...
Sorry I'm not sure where I got it. I just had it under my work bench. I think a buddy got it for me from a scrap dealer. You could get a piece of aluminum and drill a bunch of holes in it. You can cut aluminum on a table saw with a fine tooth carbide blade.
I have gotten PayPal involved in a couple of unsatisfactory eBay purchases but it never even occurred to me to pay GL with PayPal. Thanks for the great idea. Ted
