The answer to an age old question

Bertha's new "shoes" really do make her taller! They look good too. Got any ideas for testing the traction? :D:driver:

    My first multifuel?

It probably all comes from one big drum. Labels are cheap.

    My first multifuel?

The topic of which oil to use in multi fuel engines has been widely discussed and debated. Seems that if you ask ten people, you will receive ten different opinions. Here is a link to one discussion thread: https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/engine-oil-type.38960/post-428750 Personally, I...

Welcome to the site, from Alabama! Which MVs do you work with? Please do share some pictures when you're able to.

    FL Is Hagerty schizophrenic?

Here in Alabama, Hagerty did not require my Deuce to be garaged. It definitely depends on the state, and probably on what type of coverage you have. State Farm wanted to sell me a commercial policy, possibly because the agent didn't understand MVs? Either way, I have been with Hagerty now for...

I finally gave in and got an m35a3

I doubt that the OP is going to reply anytime soon. He was last seen 3 1/2 years ago, according to his profile. You might try asking your question in a new thread on the Deuce forum. More likely to be seen that way. Good luck!

Way to go, Ken! Your story is inspiring. Here's to you and your family enjoying many more happy years with Bertha (and the new members of your fleet).

    New member from East Tennessee

Welcome to the group, from north Alabama! You came to the right place. There are folks on here that know every bolt on these trucks, and are happy to help if you need it. We also LOVE pictures, so please do post some. I'm interested in how you plan to hook up your hydraulic winch. Mine doesn't...

    The Rhino

I wonder how much that prototype cost? Apparently they weren't up to the task of "replacing the Army tank". 🤣

    My first multifuel?

I am not a 5 ton expert by any means, but I see a lot of work needed and a lot of potential. Apparently it has been sitting for a while. Do you know anything about its past? Also, Ken: "nope ropes"? 🤣 first time I've heard em called that. I'm gonna use it.

Squibbly's M1009 and other Questionable Projects

Wow, a Commodore 64! I miss those old games. I sold my Atari 2600 in 1989 for $75. 😳 who knew?

Newbie here looking at a 1970 M35A2 have some questions

Hello and welcome to the forum! Looks like wiser heads than mine have already answered your question. I will add my opinion, for what its worth. The problems that you describe are all fixable, with money and time (plus a lot of work). I wouldn't call that truck a total lost cause, but it is not...

    Transfer case question

I haven't been inside my TC yet. But while the access panels are off it's a good time to check the bolts on the Jack shaft. Mine had two loose bolts and one missing bolt.
