    Brake issue, ideas welcome

Brake components are cheap for the CUCV trucks, that's a plus. Now, regardless of why the pedal went to the floor and caused a minimal brake issue, another issue has been created and will need addressed. For years and years that master cylinder piston has been travelling about the same...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Well, won a bellhousing on eBay. I'll order a clutch kit and once parts are in hand, I'll assemble it back.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Yup, I'm aware of that. My bellhousing would not be cracked had the idiot that assembled it used locktight. With that said, I don't mind used, the budget can't take AA products right now

Since we already have CARNAC, maybe he is Kreskin.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Bumpy ride today. A great number of years ago I swapped an SM465 into my SECM. Almost 2 years ago I thought I broke the trans. I was finally digging into it today and found that I broke the center hub out of the clutch disc. I was taking the bellhousing off and found 2 of the 6 bolts missing...

Streamline Bobby, do you have any more of the tripod looking devices for the camo pole kits? I might could need one.

Nonsense, we can always come up with a solution.

Hey Clinto, that site map is cool and everything but I see no mention on it of where we will be at. If you get a chance, can you add a circle or arrow? Stuff on there is too small and blurry to read.

Is this a real surplus unit or a add on

Looks well built. Split boom trucks like that are very useful in the right hands. I'd agree though, added on outside the military although the Air Force did have civilian trucks with Holmes 750 beds.

M62 wrecker with an m246 boom

Jon, this might be the best mod I've ever seen on a military wrecker. I know the extra stick might be necessary for the M246 but it's downright useful on the M62. Excellent work friend!

At some point here in early August, I'll take a ride out there and have a looksee at things. It would be nice to have an imprompu sketch of the grounds to see where everything is in relation to each other. Found this on a review so it seems there is some cell service.,

Is there any type of map or sketch that shows the proximity of events relative to camping areas? Would like to reserve something soon. Might have to speed over to Elbert County to have a looksee.

Stonepicker1 back online. Been off the site for a few years

Welcome back Brother Phil. Keep your head up, it will all work out. How are the (adults) kids dealing with all this? Great to hear you're still kicking.

    60A Alternator Differences HMMWV/ Deuce

No worries, I'll solder on another. Piece of cake! Just wanted to confirm, when I looked at it, it wasn't obvious that it got snagged off.

    60A Alternator Differences HMMWV/ Deuce

Thanks NDT, I think that's what we are going to do. It just makes sense but I can't help but wonder, how did it work on the HMMWV?

    60A Alternator Differences HMMWV/ Deuce

From TM 9-2320-280-20-3 I found this. That extra stud looks like an A/C tap. I don't dare attach the field wire there. I'm still seeking the Prestolite TM. I think I'm going to move this to the electrical section with hopes of getting someone familiar with the HMMWV to see that they say.
