Gary, I did not know that Sherwin-Williams offered CARC in spray cans. Where on the page that you attached does it mention spray cans? Maybe I missed it. There is a company in NJ that sells CARC in spray cans, but it is pricey and I don't think they will sell to civilians.
Make sure that the previous seller did not require him to sign the title. If it was signed over to him, he'll need to convert the title to his name to sell it to you with a title...unless he is a dealer and has a dealer reassignment form, which does not sound like the case.
Also, run fresh fuel and conditioner through it. I once had an NA M35A2 that was a dog...absolutely no power. It had been sitting for who knows how long before it was sold through the DRMS. Well, I changed the filters and ran a few tanks for fresh fuel and Power Service conditioner through...
I have purchased from them before and John Murray is great to deal with. I have never tried the email route, but I always get through on the phone. When I was last there, he had a few really nice M101A3s with racks. I don't remember if any had covers or not.
I recently got a rebuilt M1078...a true rebuild, not a RRAD reset or whatever they call it. It was a true rebuild with either new components (e.g., transmission) or rebuilt (e.g., engine). They come out. You just have to look carefully. My truck was listed as "would not start" or something...
I was going to say the same thing. I once had a truck at a site that was only manned on Mondays. They were unable to be at the location on the first Monday after the sale, and the second Monday was a holiday. I was in close communication with the site manager, but that did not stop GP from...
Agreed. However, I will add that the 3116 zips the lighter M1078s right along. I've never driven a C7-powered M1078 for comparison, though. But, I do have a C7 in an M1085A1. More power...and your opinions are echoed here.
I believe they moved everything to Ft. Lee, if I am not mistaken. Things to do in DC? Hmmm...if you have never been, you could check out the new water front area in SW DC. Or, you could go to National Harbor. It is fairly new and has a lot of cool restaurants and shopping. There is even a...
SCOTTMANDU has most of the big differences. I don't know which years some of these changes came into effect, but here are some more:
1) Different bumper
2) Grab handles on the outside of the cab (this is a very nice addition/upgrade)
3) Roof insulation inside the cab
4) ABS
5) Different...
You probably already thought of this, but I would suggest sending her a formal thank you note. You may also want to let her know that you will remember her support when the next election rolls around!
There is a video on YOUTUBE that shows the operation of an FMTV...I believe they show an M1079...on a side slope. They tell you the max grade and how to drive on such a slope.

Especially the ones that came out early. I have had M939 series trucks since 2001 when it was almost unheard of to own one. My first truck (an M929) did NOT have ABS.
