Also seems odd the front brakes had < 30 PSI. Wonder if that check valve is what’s draining the system. I kept hearing the air canister by battery box discharge air periodically.
Guess I am going to add to this CTIS thread. Got my rig delivered off a truck today. It seemed like the front red glad-hand was pissing air. Parked it so I could flush and drain fluids and see what's what. Tried to plug the glad-hand but it won't.... should the vents pop off at circa 120 psi...
I was mistaken. Perhaps I assumed based on my reading it had a C7…. Trying to get up to speed on everything. I spoke to the old owner and he said 3126 Cat.

There should be a TM folder for A1. I did find an A1 wiring diagram on SS.
The TM's I downloaded here did not have that Change 1 and 2 through 20 August 2005. I will try to search online for one. Did you get the TM-20 booklet too?
That fluid might be good enough for the military fleets when they regularly auction 20 year old trucks with less than 10,000 miles, the military probably didn't make the decision to use one fluid based on what's best for the transmission and extending it's life.

How often do we need to inspect/service the driveshafts?
I mean how do they get out of spec anyway? Is this from field abuse, or factory QA/QC when built? Or is this normal wear and tear and needs be checked regularly?
In regards to driveshafts being balanced. This seems to be a huge issue especially Hawaiian loaded trucks.
I had watched a video on a vehicle that had axles propping tires up off the ground, as the engine was exercised and trans engaged it brought the wheels up to spinning at an equivalent top...
