Got the top rack extension foldable and usable and bottom bunk folds up into store position but I don't like the way it looks. May try building a slat bed that will fold up where top and bottom meet and make a cleaner look.

Pulled all the gear out and putting plywood in place of the seat bottoms and stretcher rack. Also making a hinge extension for the rack to make an extra bunk to sleep in.

Thinking out loud here. It looks like the M1009 Blazer has the same TH400 and transfer case as the pickup and the old man has a bunch of the M1009 still. My thoughts are to buy a blazer and pull the transmission and case out and either sell the rest of the truck for scrap or if i can get one...
