    Having to move the VRV maxed out fully forward seems extreme based on my experience with mine. Mine is not near being maxed out for the correct shift points. I don't know why that would be but for comparison purposes maybe others can respond where their VRV is set.

    If you do tear into your dash you may want to consider replacing the bulb holders, they aren't very expensive and will eliminate any faulty ones you may have. Also here is a entertaining video about your dash lights.

    You can use regular hose if you want. I just use the best considering it's not a job you want to do again anytime soon.

    If I remember correctly you will need 1 foot of 1/4'' 5/16'' and 3/8'' fuel injection hose and new fuel injection clamps.
