I'm trying to figure out the stock configuration of the hardware (retaining clip and anchor pin setup) between the long side rack and short side rack of a dropside. I have most of the parts collected but do not know where the "S" clips from the chains attach that retain the pins and clips. The...
Doing a complete engine replacement will have its challenges. A NHC-250 in the can weights 4200 pounds. Forget your shadetree mechanic engine hoist. Even my mid-size tractor with loader could not pick it out. I've seen several completes go on GL for about $800 (that's everything) - but not...
I'm installing the battery relocation accessory kit in my M923 (relocates batts from under the pass seat to the toolbox location).
For several M900 variants, it calls for a "12-VOLT CIRCUIT BREAKER ACCESSORY KIT" Part No. 57K3611 and it is not included in the relocation kit. It goes on the 12...
Doghead gonna say it sooner or later. Even noobs have to look at the TM's, especially the Lube Order (LO). They are free for download if you back off a forum or two. That information is readily available there and will answer your questions.;)

What ever happened to your shutter stat? Did you find a civy replacement or go with the $300 NOS one? I've been looking through lots of parts book for an equivalent replacement but have come up empty. Can you let us know what you did?
THanks,

Ever since I recovered my M923 from Minot, I've had a continuous ABS light. My Haldex code reader came in last week (first picture) and it gave me a BUDU 68 error. The Haldex Info Center manual said it was the dump solenoid on the blue channel error (second picture). That's great but the Haldex...

You can download themselves from LOGSA. Now go do it! My weekend is totally shot now reading the TMs. Screw vacation!
Its interesting they are dated 10 Sept 2012 and its...

To answer my own questions:
1) The +12V tap on the batteries is for the low speed on the heater - not needed for a recovery.
2) Yes, they are the same.
3) Bighurt, thanks for the offer. Turns out I used W10-20 transmission/hydraulic oil that met the Mil standard for the OE 10W. I added 1 quart...
Please take a look at the documents again and then get under your truck! Whoever said there are four sensors on two axles didn't do that. This is a two sensor, two modulator value system and it is clearly outlined in BOTH the P2P and Haldex Info Center manual. Sensor 2A is on the drivers side...

I just rolled into Brookings about 15 minutes ago. I had to make one roadside repair (wire short to fuel sending unit), otherwise there was absolutely no problems. What a sweet rig. We didn't get out of Minot until 1 pm so we stopped in Ellensdale, ND and stayed the night.
Thanks to everyone...
Karl,
Thanks, I will keep your number handy. Thanks as well to everyone else that PM'ed phone numbers. We just checked into a Minot hotel.
Thanks again,
Allen
