It's not wal-mart they aren't going to put one on every corner. It will always be too far for someone. Even if its in your town what you want will be at the one on the other side of the county , that's Murphy's law.
I don't think you will be happy in the long run. With a 450/550 you have less maintenance and easier to come by parts. Unless you are chipping way out in the woods in BFE. If I had your business I would look at other trucks. That's my $0.02.

If you lift it up and turn a little, it locks in the up position and makes filling from a can a lot easier. I'd bet that is the main reason for it, filling from 5 gal cans. If you ever watched any of the old WWII films most of the time they used 5 gal cans for filling.
Just make sure that waste is clean. I here guys on here all the time that use that stuff and say it works. But I all so here the one's on here that say "my truck doesn't run right any more". The IP has very tight tolerances. Why do you change oil? Because it has carp in it , that the filter...
