i got a simlar kit a while ago. i ended up in the same place i was before i got my kit, no operational horn. the recess in the steering wheel where everything fit in was all out of round not allowing the hard composite piece move correctly.
here in new jersey we have a similar tag. its a historical tag you pay for once and you get historical insurance super cheap with full coverage. i pay $65 for my deuce for insurance but my pickup with full coverage her in jersey is like $2200. we also have the stipulations like you mentioned...
mine locked up before. my airpack was trashed inside. lots of rust and gunk built up in it. it was an easy rebuild with basic hand tools. i found that opening the service glad hand, drivers side one, would vent and unlock the brakes to move the truck. i was able to drive the truck like normal...
RE: Re: RE: USA 6X6
tell him i wanna work out a deal. i'll trade him four of my finest sheep for a full 2 inch set all the way around and mr greasey lol lol
the biggest short coming i find int he deuce is the lack of powersteerin. this is tough in a tight trail. my truck sees prolly 85% offroad use, i have seriously amazed myself with it sometimes. everyone thinks my arms got big from ..uh.. somthin else but i tell them i drive a deuce
i have a spare deuce winch. i recently bought a gooseneck trailer and i would like to put the deuce winch on it. problem is my trailer doesnt have a multifuel and a spicer 3035 with pto to run my winch  at work i have a hydraulic head thats 12vDC that i can have. i want to couple a...
not saying that we in the MV hobby dont matter, but randy doesnt need any advertisment or have to try and deploy some seedy sales pitch by attacking another product. lockout hubs and 2.5 ton parts are not the only things machined in his shop. he could prolly stop making any 2.5 ton stuff and...
speakin of major hardware comin loose, i have seen the ring gear bolts that are wired into the 2.5 ton center chunks come out. i found bolts sheared off and found some in the bottom of the rear housing bent into a J shape
when me and my brother tried to remove a wheel from a 2.5 ton axle for a mud truck, way back before i even had a deuce, we actually were able to snap a lug clean off by not turning the right way. big pipes make you strong like the incredible hulk hahaha
i use mine for offroad stuff, myself and just about all my friends have big 4x4s with 2.5 ton axles slung under them so army trucks are a nesscessity for us. i do alot of hauling scrap metal with my truck as well. i make killer money with the junk. to bad it all goes towards fuel LOL
