there is a whole military "kit" made just for the deuce. if you use the correct hardware its kind of a 2 man job to install cause you cant reach the nut and the screw head or bolt head by yourself
also if you have been running over trees make sure the line under the front crossmember isnt crushed. i crushed mine on my one truck and re routed a new one up outta harms way
make sure the fuel line that comes off the copper line on the driverside is not damaged. the fitting out of the bottom of the injector pump if super close to the winch driveshaft. if winching while the truck is off of level ground you may twist the truck enough to catch the line on the winch...
might need to change the fuel filtersa few more times and maybe take the injectors apart and clean them. they might have gunk in them from the bad fuel
i dont know if running it for 6 hours at just below redline will hurt it. if it was a generator it would run longer than that at high rpms. maybe im wrong though.
its still multifuel even with the compensator bypassed. multifuel capability lies in the design of the pistons. the density compensator just makes the engine get the most power from different fuels.
the blocks arent that bad, they may need kicker bars to be bombproof but i know jim-o (caveman trucks) really well and his shop isnt some hokey pokey backyard deal. its a real heavy truck shop. the state sends him alot of work on their big rigs and busses. hes been messin with trucks his whole...
if done right blocks are not a big issue. i just dont like them in the front due to possible axle wrap while steering. if theres correct axle traction linkages they are really safe but most dont have that
