take an offensive when you need to move your truck lol arm your self with some 2+2 gumcutter, not the immitation stuff but the real deal gum cutter. make sure the tube is on it too. bang the truck a little like someone esle said and wait for them to come out. gum cutter make them just about melt...
i got mine in 2001. it was an insurance policy and tow vehicle for my mud truck. now a days its got many uses. scrap hauler, recovery weapon, party wagon and general disturber of the peace. i got more than a few stories that would make you say"your nuts."
i only got about 3 months out of my set of interstae U6TL's. i went to interstate for a warranty and there was only a 6 month warranty on them. by the time i went to get the new batteries it was 7 months and they wouldnt even help me
i used mine for a dd for the month of febuary one year. i hated it. its cold. when i leave my house its up hill both ways. as soon as i would get to the top of the hill on the way to work i would be hittin the brakes and goin to the store where i get my breakfast. then it was another mile and...

this 813 came across on one of the fourwheeling boards im on. its forsale in florida someplace. looks like a nice job. i figured id post it here since it was a chopper and a crew cab too. asking price at 17k, i thought was reasonable for what it is and what work went into it.
this is a great thread, nice work on the resto. where exactly does one go about aquiring a hemmtt?? i have never seen them for sale on gl and maybe once on ebay for way to much money
the japs bought lots of scrap iron in the 30s and built up mass industry. in the 1940s they sank a bunch of our ships in hawaii. the chinese are communists. im buyin more ammo and firearms with all my scrappin money.
RE: Re: RE: MAYDAY Truck Down
my intank pump was completely dead for about 3 years and my truck always started and ran. just put in a take out like a year ago and havent noticed any difference in performance or speed
RE: MAYDAY Truck Down
try holding it to the floor while cranking. my truck was actin a fool for a while and i had to do this even when it had been at operating temperature. some times i would even have to shoot some either into the mushroom cap and hold it . it would crank alot but work its way...
ive prolly pulled about 200,000 lbs over the scales in the bed of my deuce over the last 5 years. i freakin love junkin, especially with the deuce cause you never get your truck mixed up with someone elses by the scale house guy. the only bad part is the unloading by hand.
i made a new one for my truck, it was easy. mine got pinched shit from crushing cars. it has since been tucked up behind the crossmember to prevent this
mine sees a fair amount of water. i make sure to check the bearings, whether its just jackin up each wheel and seein if theres freeplay, or actually taking them apart. the problem with the 2.5 ton axles is that when the outer wheel bearing goes bad, enough freeplay can come into the bearing...
i had a similar problem a while back. started just pumping diesel back into my tank and problem was solved. it was hard to start my truck when it had not been running and even if it was already at operating temp.
looking to sell any trucks whole as runners?? i might be looking to get another truck in better shape so i can make my current truck a 4x4 conversion for fourwheeling
