For some reason that tire is seeing low pressure when the system goes to do a pressure test and its allowing the wheel valve to open and drop pressure. Take the banjo/hose off, put a plastic bag scrunched down over the banjo/hose and rubber band over the hose tight. Give it an hour if bag...
Ok was the system working fine before? If you havent 100 percent visually verified it already pull the bolt out and verify that its a banjo bolt and not a regular bolt.
Take the banjo bolt out see if your spare had a regular bolt not a banjo bolt. You can remove the ctis hose off the valve stem and screw in a standard schrader valve. Then just fill the tire with air. Be careful when screwing in the schrader valve you dont want to over tighten it in. You can...
The crane power could be staying on and draining your batts it does not turn off with the dash switch. There is a switch on the box center left if you are standing behind the truck facing the crane.
There are a bunch of grounds on the back of the bumper. Use a meter check your voltages at the power panel. You could have a wavering voltage issue causing the flickering.
I think the 2 tone alarm is the driver alert. Even without the switch the harness going to it is still usually there. Maybe its pinched somewhere and shorted. There is a valve that opens coolant flow to the heater with one of the levers on the heater. Could just be something as simple as the...
You will get an overspeed error at a lower speed when you are in a lower ctis pressure mode. The lmtv is by far the most comfortable military truck I have driven.
I have found the synth stuff dosnt get cloudy and smelly from sitting over time. I dont put that many miles on my trucks. Its just one less thing to worry about. I do synth engine oil too. The cat engines seem to like it better.
I switched my axles to synth it made a big difference. After a good highway run at 60mph my front hubs were only warm to the touch. And it was smoother driving.
The primer diaphragms get dry with age and can suck in air. The hose from the pickup tube on the tank to the big separator can develop pinholes over time. Have replaced a bunch of those. The fuel lines are 3/8 jic flare you can get barb fittings and use those with clamps and fuel line in a...
Sounds like a hardware issue. If the system fills and is at highway pressure and tben a few seconds later it does a pressure test and thinks you need more pressure. The ecu could be programmed for higher pressure or it could be that high due to
a fault and the system thinks there is less. The...
The voltage at the nato port is the battery voltage. Its a direct connection. If you measure voltage in the cab it should be about 1/3 of a volt less because cab power goes thru a polarity protection box which is really just some big diodes.
I believe the military bypassed them all on the trucks wiring. Its usually a lousy cut and crimp job. The thermal sensor would lift the ground on the aux start solenoid so if you make a new ground on the solenoid coil then you shouldnt have any issues.
