    MEP 831A vs MEP 701A

On an icy day the 802 will walk itself across my lot. I have had a bunch of them they will all do that.

    transfer case rear output flange

None should come out you are not opening the transfer case up just taking the flange off the output shaft.

    transfer case rear output flange

Why cant you just take the nut off and remove the broken yoke?

    MEP 831A vs MEP 701A

I find the 803 is quieter than the 802. 4 cylinder engine just runs smoother. The 802 vibrates more and that causes noise.

    M1083A1 Air Gauge Troubleshooting

What year is your truck? If you have the 3126 engine you should be able to follow the first gen tm troubleshooting for that issue. Will

MTV 1084 w/MHC Hay Feeding Truck Conversion

First gear is low range the truck starts in second. If you can get the truck into gear somehow and stay in that gear and run the pto all at idle it may work. I didnt say that would cause damage. I said the trans control prevents shifting above idle rpm to prevent damage and that the pto is...

MTV 1084 w/MHC Hay Feeding Truck Conversion

No tcase output for pto. Just the ring gear/pto port on the side of the trans. Electric hyd usually has a duty cycle.

MTV 1084 w/MHC Hay Feeding Truck Conversion

The wtec2 keypad and computer are screwed together in the dash. The pto is driven off a ring gear in the transmission that spins at engine speed. Engine would have to be at idle to shift even if you defeated the pto lockout. The trans control wont allow shifting over a set rpm to prevent damage...

MTV 1084 w/MHC Hay Feeding Truck Conversion

The wtec2 pinout is online. See if there is power to the tcm. The pto runs at a higher rpm than the transmission is designed to shift at. You can’t have it both ways. Say the pto is intended to run around 1700rpms you can’t shift into gear at that rpm and if you go down to 600rpms it’s not...

    Cab Tilt Lock Light

I may have missed it but I don’t think I have seen it mentioned in the manual. And if that’s the case it wouldn’t be in the training so they probably wouldn’t know about it. I think they are trained to look at the indicator on the latch. Unless the latch was tapped for a switch or sensor I don’t...

    Cab Tilt Lock Light

I have never seen any type of sensor on any truck I have had. And there have been several a1s. Never checked for the dash light though.

    Lamp test switch

The plug may still be on the dash harness. If so then you can just plug a switch in. It’s momentary and the switch legends pop out and can be swapped between switches.

    Cab Tilt Lock Light

I have never seen anything like that on any of the trucks I have had. Maybe it was an early idea that never panned out.

    Cab Tilt Lock Light

Sorry there is a spring that pushes the latch in locked and its constant hyd pressure while raising.

    Cab Tilt Lock Light

The latch has continuous pressure, in the respective direction, when the cab is being raised or lowered.
  16. Suprman

    Cab Tilt Lock Light

There are no sensors anywhere to check pressure.

    Cab Tilt Lock Light

I have never seen one light up nor any wiring going to the cab latch.

    SRW operation and accessories

In theory once you manually throttle up to run the pto at operating rpms the trans control should refuse to go into gear based on the higher rpms.

    Disable the CTIS?

If the hub seal was bad, leaking air pressure can cause the wheel valve to see low pressure and dump air. Wheel valves are mechanical. I think its around 20psi holds open the wheel valve and dump down to around 20psi. So if the system is sending say 65psi to fill but only around 20psi makes it...

    Disable the CTIS?

If something is blocking the hub port, where the banjo goes then the tires can mysteriously loose air. A main culprit is a regular bolt in place of the banjo. If the wheel valve is bad and air is leaking back thru that will cause a pressure drop but a working system will usually keep the tire...
