And, a really big announcement.
If you were paying attention to the picture of the shirts above, you see that we have come up with some sponsors.
The rally costs a lot of money to put on. We need tables, tents, chairs, a PA system, hand washing stations, an attorney, an accountant, an...
So I went out there today and sat down with Joni for a couple hours and discussed all the rally issues with them. So be patient.
Oh man, sorry. I asked them about this and Joni said "every October we had an issue with some smelly homeless guy crashing in it, so we burned it".
However, I was...
That's the reason your pedals were so high......... your truck is either an 87-89 USAF truck or it's had those or M35A3 pedals swapped into it.
All the older trucks (1951 through at least 1984) had pedals with 3 notches.
See...
I don't own a HMMWV so my opinion here.................. I'm an internet commenter so take it all with a bucket of salt.
HMMWVs, military vehicles in general are just part of the antique car hobby.
In the hobby, you'll encounter a phenomena like this:
I have a customer who bought a pretty...
I have always thought a yuuuuge part of the Ga rally's success was because of the nice fall weather. I spent 20 years going to car shows in August and I'll never do it again. Absolutely miserable.
We just did this on Dave's M105 camper. He uses it for camping and sometimes pulls it with the Ram dually or the M35. We used the 2-1 adapters (packards) to split the 3 taillight circuits out......... one wire goes to the factory military 12 pin trailer connector and the other goes to a civvy...
I need a single deuce soft top bow-the metal rods that run from the windshield frame back to the soft top frame bow behind the cab. Supposed to have 3, I have misplaced 1..................
Any body have an extra?
So, one of the biggest rallies in the country will happen in about 2 weeks, only a couple hours from you.

If you miss this, we will know there's no hope for you.
The Ga...
The circuit breaker is on the engine side of the firewall, above the column. I think it gets circuits 10 and 25.
That CAD diagram is really better than what's in the TM.
Installed a HMMWV dual voltage output alternator. 100A on the 24V side, 25A on the 12 (I think).
What a pain in the you know where. Oh lordy.
I got this alternator from Maccus a while back. My stock 60A unit died and this was the only spare I had, so I had to go ahead and install it...
No excuse for the plugged vent hole, but you know these trannies don't use a traditional front seal, they have the weird grooved input shaft that's supposed to repel the gear oil back into the trans?
I think Jeepsinker was working on a new style retainer housing that would use a seal, can't...
I want to clarify Pete's statement for new attendees who aren't familiar with the rally.
The field where we hold the rally has about a dozen camper spots that have power, water and sanitation hookups. As you can imagine, a rally with 500+ people sells out of these few camper spots quickly...
