A few weeks ago I got a lot of radio equipment and some AN/Vic1 blocks.
I want to configure an AN/VRC47 with the AN/Vic1 intercom in my HMMWV M998.
I started reading, cleaning, restoring what should be used.
Inside the junction box on the MT-1029/VRC bracket.
from J21, pin A to J24, pin A, then...
Two reassuring things.
- After days of reflection I made the visual bumper angle guides.
Two small holes at the ends.
I recovered two brake drum springs and two strands of military antenna.
- Inadvertently, I happened to hit the parking brake when getting out of the truck.
The left front fender is now half finished, battery tray, front shackles and headlights.
I'm looking for flexible antennas without much result.

I seem to have only seen the flexible model on wreckers.
After disassembling the hydraulic head several times I ended up buying a new one.
No more leaks and the high power of the engine with all these RPMs is there.
