that is funny. You are correct. I only have one 12" cover and was wondering what in the heck i'm going to do to try to find one of those for my missing vent hole. I'm in Madison quite a bit, mainly on the Middleton (West) side. Can't say i get to Janesville too often, but i have a buddy that...

thought that picture looked familiar. i just picked up the one next to yours today. Guess we were bidding against each other to be able to get one... I'll have to read this whole post to learn more on how to get all the correct filters and fluids to get mine running. Mine had no filters of...
yes, if you could provide all the filter numbers, that would be great. Mine came with none, and all fluids drained. I need all - Air, Fuel, Oil. As well as the correct oil to use, and anything else basic to get it running again. Thanks to this thread, i know the proper batteries to purchase...
love your step by step warthog! Correct, after flipping through pages and pages of TM info, stumbling around for hours I would have figured that out, but this was so much easier. These forums save me so much time! I too blew all belts in the mud. I mean blew them totally off - no power...
Mandus HSTRU
trying to find the TM for my 2006 Mandus HSTRU so i can figure out how to put it all back together. bought it in pieces and not quite sure how to get the roll up doors back together. liberated manuals didn't have one, and only found an old trailer TM on SS. Anyone have the newer...
yes, i have both buried in a storage shed over an hour away that i won't be able to get to for another week or more with all this Christmas activity. in case anyone has one in their back yard for a quick answer. Considering taking the tank off the tanker to put on a spreader, but needs be...
Quick question for anyone with a HEMTT - what is the height from the ground to the top of the frame? __ft __ inches?
Also, the crane truck or the tanker HEMTT should be the same height, correct?
so i could tow the trailer around the yard with a truck that didn't have air hookup. Needed release the rear axle to do so. yes, confirmed only the rear axle needed caging. Worked fine then. thanks again for everyone's help.
did a google search - http://www.liberatedmanuals.com/TM-9-2330-383-14-and-P.pdf
wow - information on everything possible. caging starts on page 3-16. confirms the rear axle only. TMs are amazing, but so much to sort through to find the needle in the haystack
I don't think so. Here's a close up picture i found online to try to illustrate. there's no plug to remove to put a cage bolt into, and there's no cage bolt. There's just the large allen wrench style eye to turn where the plug should be.
persons have commented how they've caged the brakes on...
you're correct for a semi trailer. but for the M989A1, there is no hole for a bolt to go into the chamber. Unless i'm missing something ridiculously obvious when i looked at the trailer last, on top of the M989A1 chamber is just a large allen wrench type socket. Guessing just turn that? Like...
I'm not going to move the M989A1 trailer on any public road. So I'll re-word my question. What tool(s) is(are) required to cage the brakes on a M989A1? has anyone caged the brakes on these trailers? i'll need to move it in the yard with a farm tractor.
what tools does a person need to cage the brakes on a M989A1? Looking at it, is it a large allen wrench? doesn't look like the typical screw provided like on a semi trailer. Need to make sure i bring the correct tools when i go to pick it up.
found this thread - - I need to replace the four 6TMF batteries in my 1991 BMY M931A2 5 ton truck. Where would you go to purchase those batteries? I'm open to purchasing alternative batteries that would do the same job. Someone mentioned got to a Cat dealer for batteries like in an excavator...
