When I changed the water pump a couple months ago no one locally did matched pair for belts. I went to 4 different sources (+ one online) and had to settle for a set that was close (about 1/4 inch off). I did see a site last night that had a matched set but I do not know if it was P/S or Gen...
Since I had Bulldogger add a second insert for the Soft Slant Back kit, decided to see how the ballistic nylon would look painted.
I like it enough I may go ahead and paint the whole Soft Slant Back kit.
Windshield Replaced
Forgot to do a before pic but the edges of the existing glass were cloudy.
Couldn't believe the difference in the clarity after replacing the windshield. Almost like driving a new car :)
Hey G3,
Always like talking about the rig. Cup holder was my interpretation of one I saw online. I could not find a place to buy it so Tractor Supply sells 20 gauge flat and 1/4 in flat bar steel and Eddie Marine sells the cup holder inserts. Cut weld repeat. Remember to leave the...

Found out the wire from the switch was hot while changing to the keyed ignition. Thought it would be fine to swap without disconnecting the battery, then I saw the sparks and found out the switch had power. Pulled the wire off the output side. I'll find out where it's feed from.
That switch has power to the switch but the output wire was cut, I have no idea what it was going to. Was there when I bout the truck (as was the green push button above it which is also inop)
Just spent an hour or so looking at posts. Love the site and I could easily spend hours more reading what folks are doing to their M/Vs. But I am wondering what the thoughts are regarding Stock, Stock Looking or full up Modified? So where do folks sit on the issue and there reasons why...
Hello All...Been using the site for awhile and figured I would get access to see your pics as well. I bought my '86 Basic from KY earlier this year. I have made some upgrades and done some needed maintenance. I can tell already this is going to be a labor of love...OK it's gonna be labor...
