We needed to adjust the sensor also a bit but with it it work now correct
Sorry for the bad quality of pics, made from a video... and the instrument cluster is still with it secure tape on the display
it gone through all gears smooth and directly, no comparison to the spongy switching feel...
Thanks. I find my english extremly poor, especially in terms of grammar and pronunciation. When i write, i always check the text several times before posting. I avoid conversations, which is somewhat difficult but possible in my job. It is also always funny when i have to call the dealers to ask...
Perfectly expressed, only the last sentence doesn't really make sense in German. What did you actually want to say with “How do you like the new transmission line?”<- my translation tool translates it this way. I suspect that my English is also a bit “bumpy” at times
After a lot of cutting does it fit
I am still not satisfy with the wiring of the appliances, but for space reasons we have to live with it
The metal flap and the lock will be installed at the last part
the shift linkage is ready for a test but since i dropped one of the small adjustment...
You know all that we work on two trucks.
Allways if we wait for parts switch we from one to the other.
A general question:
Is it just me who is too stupid to install these rubber bushings or is it the same for others?
I have a press and still can't get them to fit properly. On the Chevy I...
Some Parts arrieved but we had no time this weekend to go on with the truck
It must wait.
We dont care that the glove box is made in Taiwan. We will destroy it for our customizing 😅 important only the open/close mechanism on it.
Not much progress
We start to customize the shiftlinkeage
But we need this special bolt (german: Gelenkkopfschraube) in metric as i have not the right thread cutting dies in inch
I ordered today as here is no shop which have such material on the shelf.
We use the TH400 linkeage as template...
Glove Box is filled up with devices and a new plastic aftermarket glove box is on the way to us
engine wiring is almost done
Still looking for the best place for the oiltemperatursensor.
It exists different solutions. We want the best one
Unfortanetly we didnt think about that before rebuild...
Well how should it go on easy...
Of course the main wiring from dacota device to the dacota instrument cluster is just about 10 cm to short  - its 3 ft. long
Fortunately there is a 6ft replacement cable by Dacota Digital avialable
What do you want to know? Where to find an original pintle hook?
I think about international auctions. The original have for us no use as it will never got here roadlicence. Maybe it is different in your country.
You can also use a Dixon/Bates pintlehitch like we now purchase with Roadlicence...
Yes i know this before and you see in our rebuild what you need to customize if you go this route.
It is not a cheap, easy and fast solution. We will know if it is worth the money and effort when the truck is back on the road again.
I have seen it in your build-thread.
I knew before that no universalkit exists for the 4l80e, 6.2 Diesel and Np205. Thats why we gone with the cableshifting unit on the Np205 which work perfect. Unfortunately was the decision for the Lokar cableshifting unit to steering column a bad choise. A...
We realized that we still have 3 sensor wires to bring into the cab for Dacota when we went through the engine compartment wiring.
That's what happens when you take a break for several months while working.... We thought we were done with the cab wiring.
We start again when we dismantle the...
You mean the markings? There is a TM which unfortunately not covers all. I searched on internet and guyfang helped me to choose a real existing marking of that time.
I can give you my results.
You can buy templates in the correct size and font but it is expensive. You can also make your own...
The original pintle hitch had to go in storage as it have no roadlicence in Germany
the Nato pintle hitch fits into the bolt circle of the original Pintlehitch. I hope the TÜV is now satisfied and will later grant road approval
what absolutly not work for us is the universal shift...
Croat you should sent it by letter/post with a notification of deliver if they still dont answer. In Cermany this is "Einschreiben mit Rückschein" they have to sign that they got the letter und you got back an offical note with their sign. With this paper they cant say they didnt got it.
