Never noticed that. Interesting. I thought the M1151A1 was 12K like the 1165A1.
ETA: This flyer indicates 12K, so I have no idea why that truck has the 15K number on it? RKIs please weigh in, I am really curious.

Like the title says. I'd like to find a good, easily sourced alternative to the GAA/G403 stuff I used last time I greased the vehicles. The real thing was quite expensive and is difficult to find.
I'm going to hit all lube points on both trucks but would like something to use in place of GAA...
The terminal side of the cable was hooked into a mini-distribution block on the compressor side, and then the compressor were powered off that block with some relays in between.
ETA: occurs to me if I get a slave plug I could wire up a slave cable, but those plugs aren't cheap and it's...
Came with a set of air compressors that I cannibalized to install in my HMMWV. It was originally part of the "Expedient Refueling System". Is this designed to plug into a genset, or a truck? One end has a heavy plug, the other end is positive and negative terminals.
I'm trying to decide...
Big week for the HMMWVs. Had both in the town 4th of July parade again, with the honor of carrying a former Navy Seal and Navy Cross awardee as my guest.
Then 640 miles round trip to take the M1165A1 over the Alpine Loop in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. An amazing trip, I was able...
Primed and painted the brackets for the air upcoming compressor installation. Have brackets, have compressor. Still need air lines, air storage tank, relays, switches and wiring. More to come.
So I think I will run from the battery bay. I'm not taking much power on the run to the pressure switch as it's the control side of the relay. Going to drop an in-line 10 amp fuse and forget about it. The compressor power will be getting a breaker and not a fuse in case. Compressor is...
Yes sorry should have been clearer - don't necessarily need 24 V as I can get versions of the air drain and relay in 12 or 24. I need hot power.
The compressor itself is sitting in the engine bay and is a 24V model. I plan to have switched relay power from the cabin, and a pressure relay in...
I'm putting an air system in the M1165 and will be mounting the air storage tank in the vicinity of the rear cross member. I need a tap for 24V to run the auto drain on the tank and the pressure switch relay.
I took a look and can't find anything other than the main harness to the trailer...
Saw a Ramones/Beastie Boys show way back when I was in high school. 1984'ish? Great show. Then I worked in the Rockaways for my first job circa 1988. Good times.
No they are much better than the standard nozzle. These Montana caps are the choice of graffiti artists everywhere. (Not kidding about that, I saw them featured in a film about train taggers)
I bought an assorted pack of the Montana nozzles on Amazon. They definitely work better. But they need to be viewed as single use. I found once the paint dried in them from a prior application they did not work as well
