    Cummins Engine Swap

The DT530 would be interesting. It is based on the DT466 and has the same physical dimensions. They typically get good reviews. It has more cubic inches and can be tuned easily to around 300 hp. In addition, you can do an in-frame rebuild.

    Our MTVR camper:

That's a nice truck! I will stop looking, or I will buy one : )

Engine down, blew out all the oil...

It's the driveline domino effect. It makes sense. The resonating / rotating forces continues like jack hammer until something extinguishes the force. Things that resonate at or around the frequency of the oscillation will receive almost the full force. So, in testing, we need to detect forces...

Curious about best apparatus to put in 3.07 middle gears

I am assuming you did a 4x4, not the 6x6. The 6x6 chunk in the middle is massive.

    FMTV Replacement Door Handle Upgrade

Whatever happened, it is a shame that they are not working with the DIY folk. Starting a business is a very hard job.

Do the fit up off the HF 18000# industrial winch

Reinforcements underneath is next step. Mounting plate and winch. Simple. Do NOT want the giant box toaster oven on a bumper look that I have seen.

Do the fit up off the HF 18000# industrial winch

Doing the fit up of the Harbor Freight 18K winch. So far so good. Mistakes were made, but nothing I can't fix. Long plate will get cut off. Wanted to maintain attack angle of front by placing winch higher. Wanted winch tucked in grill for better physics and appearance. Will add cooling intakes...

Caterpillar part number for Engine fan?

I thought someone said that you could remove the rubber bushings on the original one and mount it flat? Maybe I'm imagining things.

Got driveshafts balanced yet? Otherwise, it's like a grenade ready to go off at any time.

I refuse to use FB and RARELY Instagram, which they own.

Curious about best apparatus to put in 3.07 middle gears

Hi Guys, Well the axles went in for balancing yesterday. Tiger Tool helped a lot. If you use one you must take the zerks out first. They get destroyed. I need to drop in the 3.07 gears. Just curious about using a gantry and chain hoist vs. engine hoist vs? I am putting in a locker at the time...

Look at the difference when all of the running and tail lights are replaced

The photos speak for themselves. Fuzzy and faded looking lenses no more. Update the old school lights with new lens. $6-8 each.

Which design is better for the non-rock climber as an Overlanding Vehicle, the 4x4 or 6x6? An expert weighed in

FYI According to the owner of Unicat, based in Germany, the 6x6 is generally the preferred design. He went so far as to say that many 4x4 vehicles when fully loaded with the camper and supplies are over the weight design of the truck. If you have not seen these live videos, it is worth a look...
