Are you using DOT5? I couldn't afford to bleed my brakes that often. When you say gets softer after sitting what exactly do you mean? Does the pedal go to the floor? Feel spongy rathern than hard? Is there a change if you pump them up? Are you waiting for the air pressure to build up from...
Maybe I'm misunderstanding this, but are you saying you bleed your brakes everytime before you drive it if it sits a couple of weeks? This should be completely unnecessary and sounds like an awful lot of work every time you want to drive the truck. If you have no leaks and no fluid loss and if...
I should be there. Just got the cargo cover back on. Anyone got a new exhaust J-pipe or a used heater air intake hood they want to part with? The bottom of my J-pipe finally rusted through and I'm tired of looking at the gaping hole in my driver side engine access panel.
Another great breakfast. Great day, beautiful ride to and from with a convoy with Python86 and M816Someday. Maddawg you are DA BOMB, all the way from Front Royal. Great to see everyone. Looking forward to next month! M816someday should have his truck on the road by then and it will...

If the wire was disconnected at the steering box end and you pulled the wire inside the steering box, you should see a small round black rubber boot type fitting pressed into the hole at the bottom of the steering box that the wire runs through. This helps keep the wire in place. Good luck...
Might be part of my problem. I think I used whatever white teflon tape I had lying around which was for regular plumbing. Hmmm, how long ya think before leak starts again? I could tell previous leak because the bright white teflon turned a dull cream color where the leak was and the fittings...
I also installed the secondary kit from Westfolk. Mine developed leaks around the fittings on the filter housing itself causing fuel to pool on top of the filter and drip down. I had to take everything apart and tighten them up quite a bit. Now ll seems to be good. I'm quite happy with the...
You are not bypassing the pump. The engine will draw enough fuel to run the truck through the IP. The in tank pump keeps fuel pressure to the filters, system and IP to purge air and allow filters to be changed etc so the canisters fill back up and air gets out. if your in-tank pump is...
