I called and spoke with Hagerty to insure my Deuce as well. They will cover it for a good low price but you can't do much with it except parades, club meets, car shows and pleasure cruises. They told me that any off road or load carrying would be a no-no.
Since I didn't want to take a chance at...
This stuff is good and made in England. Not sure if you can get that in Czech Republic though. Cunifer tubing. It is sold in English and Metric diameters.

Here is a USA distributor website if it helps.

Yeah the old ones can be a real problem. I was working with the NOS ones and it was not an issue. But I guess it depend on the condition of NOS that you receive. Good luck!
The bolt idea above is great. Thanks to the guys who are linking these older posts.
Take them off the doors - put them on top of vise jaws or something with a hole in it and beat them out with a punch. They come out. I had to do 4 of them last year and had no problems with it.
Maybe for ease of manufacturing? Cutting more lengths of tubing to the same size is cheaper than making more pcs. of different length. Also less to keep in stock for depot supply of spare parts. It seems a lot of this truck was built that way - which makes sense. Also might be enough stuff in...
I am still in the process of doing the same job you are. I went ahead and used new line throughout. Lots of work as stated by Frank. I think it was worth it. Definitely found rust in areas of the steel tubing and inside the wheel cylinders. I used the cunifer tubing and it was pretty easy to...
Looks like the brackets are right. Mine are both the same. I see two drains in one tank and none in the other in the picture. Sounds like you have that figured out already though. Don't see how the piping would affect the mounting location that much.
Looks like someone had the air tanks out and changed them or didn't put them back in correctly. Are they the same size? They both should have a drain on the bottom. Looks like you have 2 drains on one.
I have mine out right now. They are both the same diameter and length and fit perfectly in...
I had three skids recently with missed pickups etc. etc. Two skids sat for 2 weeks after the last pickup date and I had no issues. Seems like a good location as stated above. Good luck.
I have used recently Rustoleum Rust Reformer in the 8 oz. white bottle.
I wire brush it as best I can and then wash it, rinse, and let dry. Apply per instructions and let dry.
Paint over it within 1 hour after drying using an Alkyd Primer.
Then topcoat as needed.
I have also used spray can...
Purchased 6 deuce tires likely loaded on 2 skids at Chambersburg.
I will probably make the trip to get them but figured it might be worth asking if anyone else is picking up anything there and bringing it back to Nassau County?
Maybe my stuff can hitch a ride along for a reasonable price.
Have a...
It will only be off if the main power switch is turned OFF or you have an electrical connection problem. Otherwise it will run all the time. Doesn't hurt anything to have it running - just shortens the life of the pump by some amount.
