It seems to me that the easiest option is to get a SF-97 in your name that can be converted into a Texas title.
Another option not mentioned above is the bonded title route.
Lastly, I just learned something new from NDT. I was not familiar with machinery plates.
This month was exciting and fun! Thank you to everyone that entered a vehicle and cast a vote!
This site is full of great people and great vehicles. I feel very fortunate to be part of the community.
Humm… now I need to get a new (to me) MV to enter in the monthly contest.
My Deuce also had the privilege of helping in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Several of us helped to evacuate a nursing home, assisted living and apartments for seniors (3 separate buildings in one development). The Deuce operated flawlessly even in 4 feet of water on a residential street...
Orphans and puppies… Humm… yeah… still not sure about that.
What I do know is that my Deuce doesn’t miss an opportunity to give back by supporting veterans and charities.
While I’m still not sure about orphans and puppies, I completely agree with you @cucvmule! Well said!
My Deuce is most certainly a herd animal and the friendships I’ve made from this site and the MV hobby in general are invaluable to me.
It’s funny… My Deuce even plays nice with CUCV’s….
I wish!!! It was just something we said that day. I showed up with a .22 and a couple guys brought pistols. The name seemed appropriate.
But now that you mention it, I think we need to start a new club.
Not long after I got this Deuce, a group of us met at a range (and later convoyed to lunch) for a Little Guns and Big Trucks outing. That was a great day!
Howdy from just north of Houston. It’s funny how a long time love of MVs and likeminded friends will drive one to this site. I may or may not be speaking from experience.
Welcome!
