225 miles for pasco to napavine. MOST of the construction over white pass is done. But there are still some rough roads left.
I would guess that towing a deuce over the pass, you will be in low range for the climb.
I think 7 hours back might be a little...
I can live with it not getting the emulsified water out. I figured it would do a good job at getting the free water out, and that seems to be the larger amounts I would be seeing in the 'fuels' that I would be collecting.
I did the same 70HD with srw hubs a few years ago, but never got around to putting rear brakes on it.
What rotors/calipers did you use? And which part number for that brackets?
I finally got some shop space again, and it's time for me to put rear brakes on that sucker.
Actually, just pull the thing apart and clean it. That seems to fix it most of the time.
Mine was doing it, and when I pulled it apart to clean, it looked really clean.
I cleaned it anyways, and it hasn't leaked in the three years since.
I recommend the spin-on filter swap.
Besides being able to get a much bigger/better filter, you can get one that has the water separator with a drain.
I ran a tube off the drain on my 1009, so I can easily catch whatever drains out.
Catching what drains out into a clear plastic soda bottle lets...
I think this describes MOST of what we are doing, and how we do it!
Btw, I get between 5 to 7 mpg with my 818. So you still got me beat, and I can't even run WMO (or that blasted 'mostly ATF' stuff .... )
