I actually got the original Perkins off EBay, but as noted, Napa has the compatible ones too. I got them from the TM. Oil, fuel and the airs. Still cheap enough. Do not forget to clean the inline filter.
Hey Shawn, those TM's that Will uploaded are great, do know that things vary a bit from the manual (meaning manufacturers, and a couple of small things like an "extra" oil fill near the shroud on mine, some have them some don't). As usual, read the TM's, they are an easy read, but I worked my...
Watched another auction go for $13,300, 4 door, nothing special, not even a video for the engine stuff. My state is weird on auctions. Might be time to go east again..
Posted this in the 5 ton forum, but this is a good spot too. Found a video on Youtube from a crowd goer, with some odd commentary (not about us), but he does have some more. The local news videos use horrible Adobe flash and advertising, so I won't subject you all to that, but feel free to...
Truck was in a local parade. 53rd annual Memorial day. The local club was there, we had a great turnout, I bet around 12 trucks. Old to new. GREAT crowd turnout, and unfortunately no picts of them. Did a BBQ afterwards, and put it away before the rain hit.
No doubt on those tire swaps. (Why are so many happening lately?) I think he's warming up to tan, that's all. I don't want to start a religious debate here, but I think he's finally come over to the dark side (well light). Go tan!
Even my tents are tan
I'm just glad to see that Coffey is finally coming around to Tan trucks. If you don't repaint within a month, they stay that way. I hear they are faster anyways...
Got the jack (wow that was fast), and will be up there maybe today / tomorrow for action picts. I didn't put in the handle picts, but have it, its the articulating one.
Here's what mine looks like:
Top - This is what the spacer looks to go over.

FWIW, I took my truck into a heavy shop after I changed a tire. They had a big ass torque wrench, and torqued it to proper specs. I just don't trust myself on feel or the multiplier. They charged me like $20, but I bet would have done more than one for that. Piece of mind for me.
Well, there it is. Nice. I see the original scissor jack with the square top fits into it. I also see that the newer style with just the insert might also work. See some out on the Bay. I scored the old style, and will report back with picts. The trailer did not come with a standard (or...
OK. I don't think I understand how this jack spacer works. It doesn't look load bearing like I see elsewhere online. Does the trailer come with a specialized jack? Sorry to be thick here, but I don't see how it works yet.
With help from my long distance southern brother Jon, I got the AC charged and verified my heat and AC works. it's awesome. Fabricated some new battery tie downs. Replaced the buss fuses that had been cut out. Also fixed a marker bracket on the back. These trailers are so easy to work on...
Yeah, I noticed those on my trailer too, it doesn't seem like it does much either, but I wanted to know what that was too. I can rotate mine 90 degrees flush. Anyone?
I think you mean the big 208v breakers? Those are definitely not on yet (until I try the heat or the AC). Again, when I ground it, and throw those switches, maybe that's the trick. Thanks will.
Good idea on the heat. I've tried the switch, but it didn't seem to light when i activate it up or down. Also haven't hooked up the front panel outs yet, but I would think it would light.
