Where are you guys putting a in-line Coolant Winter Heater on the 3116 Engine? I want to try and not use either to start but warm up the engine. I did notice the engine does not want to start as nice at 28-30 degs then 70+ degs! I want to plug in my engine at home so it will start. I could heat...
My M1078 Tires/Rims use a regular Tire Valve inside the stem but the stem is not the ones they use on regular tires. I thought you could just fill each tire using the valve? When I pulled the Hose off the Hubs Stud that feeds it no air leaked? I have heard of a fitting you can use instead of the...
I tried for a while to pop the bolted on ring off then gave up. I figured if the small ring is that tight the big one would be worse. I just decided to let the tire shop do them! My lake looks great this morning. Tractor now has it's winter outfit on for the next 6-7 months??
I put the Tire Chains on my tractor today. Rears easy 350+ lbs a pair, front 2 chains 40 lbs total. So my tractor is ready for winter plus I have 145 gals of fuel stored, hate 5 gal cans. I just pump it in there now and should last me into spring being treated Off Road Diesel Fuel. Just...

My newer tires are ready to go on when I get them to town! Got them on pallets and put them in the back of the 79 Chevy! Then I woke up to it starting to snow? We will see what it adds up to today and some real cold weather the next few days to!

Getting help today to get them off the hubs safely! I have it all blocked up and also using the jacks for even more support. I need to buy some real good jack stands!
I hope I neverget a flat I have to change out on the road! I think I would have a truck shop change it out. If I was 50 again maybe but now at 69 yrs old it has a effect on you.
I am working over a dirt/gravel surface covered with plywood. The tire is about 1/2" max off the ground. I have more plywood to take up the gap flush, and off the studs/hub. I would not even try this along the side of a road maybe run flats are not that bad of a idea?
My 2 Rear Tires should be here Tue/Wed this coming week. I figured I would save money and remove the tire & rims myself so I tried today. Removed the 20 lug nuts what a job! I had to use a 3/4" Air Impact Driver. The Tire Shop was concerned about the 40 smaller bolts holding the rims together...
Stopped at the Lumber Yard to show off the M1078 and the guys were not there? So on leaving I looked on the passenger side cause the drivers side had a truck in the way. Figured how I would turn to back out. Started backing up and it made a noise inside the cab? Thought the tire rubbed on the...
Our Rain Shower after the wildfire was nice, it washed off the truck for it first bath at home. Had the Dust/Ash Storm first so it washed off a lot of stuff. The dust was so thick I had to sit in the cab of the M1078 till it was over!!
Learning theSound the M1078 makes!
Went to town with my M1078 for a appointment. The Lady loved the truck! Never got so many thumbs up and OK signs driving before!! Made a few other stops and the Local Gun Shop last he really likes it to! Took a picture of it there. I think I need to look at...
Fix the Check Valve for the Emergency Front Glad-Hand today. Found a small piece of Cardboard inside the valve center?? Put a new top Check Valve on the group of three. Touched up the nose a little before putting the Grill on. Will blend better when the paint is completely dry. Sure helps to...
Just a few repairs and maintance needed and done. I lubricated all the Zerk's setting up under the M1078 today. Checked raising and lowering the spare tire. Found the Lubed Order had been followed nothing was dry and differentials were full and clean fluid in them. Ordered the needed one way...
