Respectfully suggest a Growler forum as well.

Lionel I have been here a short time and try to participate and although I am not right or wrong always I do stick my head in there and get wacked now and then. I just had a good laugh tho as it really is about that, participating. The Growlers when posted for sale I bet were looked at pretty...

Has this happened to anyone? (oil cooler lines)

I bought boxes of the wiring loom cover from jc whitney years ago, 15,20 and still use it on all kinds of areas that chafe. I happened on some industrial stuff at work that is heavier or thicker gage that is good for hydro lines. Not only for protection but make areas look cleaner more...

    Fake CUCV M1009

I agree that to find a diesel Blazer will be a vehicle hunt of epic proportion. I have seen 2, and they were 84 models. I am sure that you may find one in an area that has no real winter weather. Most by now have been converted to gasoline, or their service life has been met. You may find a...

Has this happened to anyone? (oil cooler lines)

Now would be a good time for everybody to check all areas for wires chaffing. Any time I am into servicing a machine or vehicle I take time to check for anything that may be loose or vibrating, air cleaner wing nuts, or may need a new clamp, nylon tie. You never know.

M37 ran fine for last years parades, this year, not so much

My experience with diesel fuel and gasoline is a love and now hate relationship. New fuels for on roadway use are refined with government regulations in place. Winter fuel, summer fuel, north, south, east, west fuel, all do and have a purpose. Fuels today are formulated for new vehicles and...

    747-AAC CONCEPT "Airborne Aircraft Carrier"

I believe that I read two of the micro fighters would be on CAP at all times. And you can bet that any aircraft recovered that is not at ready condition would be jettisoned. The Mothership would require a maintenance schedule also but is never discussed other than refuel. The day of stealth...

    747-AAC CONCEPT "Airborne Aircraft Carrier"

Very interesting indeed. It would seem that the tech involved was developed in one form or another on several aircraft over the next 35 years, perhaps longer. To me the concept that a crew of Airmen could recover, rearm, fuel, and Launch an aircraft at 30,000 feet in an at best pressurized...

    M818 W/M348A2 MO to TX

Wow, I hope your pride is ok as well. I think you chose wisely but the minds of pretend commuters is well at best terrible. With all the distractions that go on when the primary is to be in control at all times while driving. Of course the emptyhead did not stop? And take the blame for being a...

    M818 W/M348A2 MO to TX

What a test of fortitude. Sure is fun when mileage goes by, but the bugs on the front glass get to be a chore to see through at night. The Quest continues. :driver:

    Mystery bolt

Does not belong in the converter area. I can not see it to clear but maybe from the front pump on the transmission. Doubtful as hex head bolts are used.

Cable cutters to stop starter run on?

All I do is keep the neg cable snug enough to pull off in case of runaway. I will place inline battery disconnect switch at some point. They cost from 20.00 bucks up to 130.00. I just replaced the relay with new one even though the one that was there looked new anyway. Do not overtax the relay...
